Hello everyone, I've been on a work related hiatus from Infinity and missed most of N5.

In September I will finally be back home and able to get in some games again. I've yet to get into the new ruleset, but I'm probably going to stick to Acon for the time being. What are your experiences in N5 so far? Do you have any pointers as to what I should be looking for?

Looking at the army with N4 brain, I'm seeing Scylla in a regular fireteam with an Orc +Tinbot, but I bet this is no longer the name of the game in N5^^.

Also, E/M Carbine Akali seems interesting.

Welcome back! Knights of Montessa (on foot) Paramedics are a near auto pick for any faction that has access to them. When linked, they have 3 dice in reactive (1 + 2 special die) with a blitzen that stops most attack runs. 2 wounds with Mimetism-3 and is a specialist is a wonderful deal.

Dart has been updated so much she is really good now. Combined her with the new improved nagas and a Beasthunter gives you a great midfield.

Bagh-mari and Regulars are still solid. Orcs are the best they have ever been with the N5 HI discounts. Nothing wrong with Scylla with a Tinbot as a +1 boarding shotgun orc is a a threat. For Akalis, I would prefer the specialist operative as it is cheap, fast, can do objectives, drop a repeater, and can assassinate key pieces with the +1 boarding shotgun.

The Tik Lt+1 Lt order is now one of Pano best Lieutenants. Especially with an 18 point chain of command in Agnes. The Drago is a menace when used properly and now doesn't need to fear Ulhans, Azra'ils, Wreckers, or Agamemnon.

There biggest weakness is limited vision control as they have no discoballs and one source of unreliable Eclipse smoke. They also have limited link teams keywords, but this somewhat mitigated by access to a wildcard TacAware Pathfinder.

    Good luck and enjoy!
