Something intersting. Yaksha tacbot is in the list above but it's not a troop that can fireteam.

Not that Trisha saw a lot of tables: no turrets, 25pts WIP14 Eng. Artalis is just as good, a little bit cheaper K1 Combi or LRL

Indeed. I think I played her one or two time and rarely find a reason to fit her in. And the regular version was not so nice, like the Deviant one (sadly never get her and especialy her Yudbot).

But I do not like how there is character intruduced and two seasons later removed.

I am also not a fan of changing weapon loadouts of already existing miniatures - its not that hard to keep a combi profile for Nagas or Dasyus. New Asura Hacker is now obsolet. Why not keep a Multi-Rifle loadout - it will not hurt the game.

I have Defiance with full package so I have the yudbot too, but I never used it.
Regarding the weapon loadout: I totally concur, I would have rather added than substituted and in some cases there would have been a potentially slightly cheaper version which would have gone in the "options" argument I kept ongoing throughout my posts.
Still, honor where honor is due: what was released with Mazebreaker starts making sense in bringing Aleph back in the game. I still believe the standard of 3 sectorials + vanilla should become a game goal to standardize the flavors of factions and increase balancement. I also would like to understand what will happen in SP now that Thora have been added to OSS as well (sounds to me like the N2/N3 vAleph roster that had Myrmidons AVA1). Also how much of what Bostria says is "talk and a badge" and how much is "money where the mouth is" in terms of SP: he said that the lack of Achilles was not going to be a problem much longer (just when they communicated the Achilles team formation on CA) and I wonder what might happen (following a trend: a big fat nothing... still one is allowed to dream)

Trish will be an Artalis or Sophotech for me, I guess. I’m a little surprised she’s gone because you would expect there to be one of those Spec op sets with her and a Nomad. But I think they just re-did Lupe. But she’s not much of a loss in game. I don’t think I put her in a list once. But now I have two minis of her

So what did Aleph (or OSS) achieved in what we were looking for?

So far we only see the reworked units form the box and two new units.

We want a denser reapeater network and superior hacking.

We got Nagas and Dasyu with deployable repeaters. Thats a very good step forward. The Dasyu is - in theory - able to put a hacking area into the enemy deployment zone (we can be achieved by with minelayer by the cheaper Bandit on the Nomad side also). Both units had to put down the repeaters in active and one is also a hacker with carbonide +1 SD. This ability starts at 25 pts. Not as dense as a CJC Network with Morans but better than before. We also get the option of a S2 REM with a inbuild repeater on the renamed Dakinis (without a model though). The Doggo would be greaat with a inbuild repeater.

We did not know if any other unit will get DR or inbuild repeaters. Maybe Garuda FO could also get DR. The Nomad side just got another AD troop with DR.

Two of our Hackers get a SD on a certain hacking program. Three of the (re)new units get better hacking protection (Asura, Dickinis, Kinnara).

    More little upgrades are expected.

So yes, we got better hacking network, better hackers and better hacking protection.

We want a more elite feel.

Kinnaras are truly elite. Full of skills, lot of tools, good in CC. Medium in shooting.Nagas are better now. Asuras get upgraded (but more pricy). And Dasyus got sidegraded. They lost NWI (while CJC get one) and NCO but are better in shooting, moving and infiltrating (kinda). Oh and they finaly got BTS.

Shukras get a very cyberbpunk-good looking new mini :-) - which unlocks the lt. option for me.

We want more "line troop" choice.

If the chart is true, Thorakati will go into OSS and we got renamed Dakinis.

But it looked like we lost two characters and one them was truly elite beeing a LI with two STR, engineer +3, 2 W doc and great mobility.

We also get Yaksha which we've no idea what they are and 3 new characters plus Pilot-X. Riksha and Dawon apparently were already built for N5 having ECM-3 in the profile, so I'm expecting Yaksha and Garuda got it too. Don't know the jewish REMs.

Yes, Kinnara are definitely the idea of Elite we want to see. With the new and improved Asura (now definitely Lt/Hacker) the Shukra will see more tables being COC. We do however miss the NCO which for me is a bigger deal than the NWI (NWI with no shock immunity on a 1 vita model has half the utility).

There is also one tiny little detail: all profiles are temporary for now, including fireteam charts (usually no profile was changed after release, but hey there's always a first)

Aleph be losing so many units with released models its crazy. Achilles? Throw him away. Pandora? Unplayable in both factions you got her with. Thrisha? Dire foes? More like dire throws away. And Parvati, no longer in vAleph since the start of n5 and now cut from OSS. You got that sweet LE model second hand for like 50€? Better start playing PanO if you want to use her again.

You mean O-12 I guess - or do I miss something going on in PanO?

Nah, my bad. Guess I just consider O12 as a bunch of PanO sectorials xD

Definitely odd to be losing Parvati. I had always considered her to be THE OSS character. It's in her damn name, even.

I'll have to proxy her as something else if that's the case, and I'll live, but it's a bit frustrating to see her of all characters turn coat.

Keep in mind we do have three Aleph armies.

OSS, Steel Phalanx and the vanilla. Given how N5 rolls, I'd fully expect some units to be available in vanilla and in vanilla only.
Trisha and Parvati might be among those.

That might be true for Trisha. But Parvati was cut from Vanilla at the begining of N5. Cutting her from OSS and giving back to Vanilla would be a proof of how indecisive and random CB is.

The most indecisive thing is actually that list, heck not even the profiles are to be trusted before they get added to Army, so I don't really know what's this all chatter about Parvati... we don't know what happens to Sophotect, we don't know the 3 characters who they are, we don't know Pilot-X in a faction that doesn't have pilots for TAGs (the only one being Max and Karkata does already exist...). And even when they may end up confirming something verbally (Bostria said in 3 occasions that Sectorials were gonna cap at 3) those things are not to be trusted until written... and even when they are written if you play PanO and you cry loud enough they are going to change whatever was said and written.

All I know is that if Kinnara will be 100% confirmed (or even with a skill more, but not less) I'd be pretty pretty happy.

I guess it will be a model that gives a boost to your TAG. Like the other factions have - TAG-treiber in Nomads, or Sayiq in Haqqislam.

Now, I'm not completely sold on the idea, and besides, I believe naming them "TAG pilots" was the wrong choice, as it is miselading.
    But they seem playable.
Then again, have we seen a dedicated model for these? I don't think so. I do use old TAG pilot models for that role.
And I guess CB is assessing whether the idea gains track. If yes, well, we'll one day see a release of "TAG pilots" across the factions. If not, they'll quietly pull it out of the game at some moment.

Krakata is a different kettle of fish - these small utility REMs were common only for the factions with Remote Presence TAGs, since they did the same role pilots did for manned TAGs back in N3 and N4. Now, all TAGs have an utility bot, but those for manned TAGs haven't been released as models.
