I highly doubt we will be seeing CG any time soon. We have yet to see any of the basic troops of factions that just came out. Senku, Fennec, and next is Harbingers. Some got changes like Keisotsu, who got Thunderbolt, AP Rifle, and Crazy Koalas.

I'm pretty sure this is two Bao and Kanren hacker. I love the look of all three!

    Edit:
The Kanren and Bao look fantastic to me. Unfortunately, I haven’t been taking either of them. The Kanren is expensive and I miss the holos. Its CC was severally nerfed and has hurt me due to being the first one any big CC troops run into. The Mim-6 is good but that’s all it has going for it. Also, why take him when you can take a Vanguard now? For Bao, If I take a sniper, it’s usually Major Lunah.

Eh, I don't like the Bao helmets. Tiger Soldiers look like tigers. But these Baos look more like crazy koalas than cat-like. The poses are very uninspired as well. The Kanren, on the other hand, is excellent with its sinister look, a significant upgrade from the old sculpt.

I'll still get the box since I don't have any of those units' old sculpts.

I think they are an improvement. I never thought they had something that looked like MSV before.

Now if we can only get Contender, BSG, and X-Visors back as well. I also think they should be a core team with Pheasant counting as Bao.

I'm not sure if this is Exclusive to Warsenal or it's the Adepticon figure. I'm not sure If I like it. The pose is strange. The paint job doesn't seem up to par with others too.

Wow, that's a very awkward pose. The Tag Raid version is sooooo much better.

I'm thinking it might be based on Bagua Zhang saber. They use a really big saber for training. Also Bagua has stances kind of like that though it's like mid-movment.

I'd say it's more of a Dadao with shorter handle. I agree that Bagua has twisty movements but that beast hunter is a standing pose not mid-movement. It's an awkward pose, awkward way to hold a weapon, and awkward foot stance. Did the sculptor actually try that pose?

The original one is just so good that it would have been difficult to make it looks better (but she is a pain to manipulate).
She looks like a witch ready to ride her flying giant sword.
Being pingeon toed make the pose even stanger and the stance weaker.
I have the feeling just posing her like the artwork would have been better.

New Bao and Kanren are the first rescult that looks better than the old ones to me (I consider previous rescult as side step at best).
Kanren has a good flow of clothes and armor, giving it an elegance I think the new Pheasant and Crane agents have lost in the resculpt.
Bao have an efficient design with a distinctive point. To me, the helmet is quirky in a good way.
About the size, they have to pack two visors in it after all and it's not much their helmet is oversized but most unit helmets are undersized.

The pose of the BH is very akward. Just using the pose form the artwork would be SO MUCH better. The Tag Raid version looks cool but is a pia to build.

If they had come out with it when BH were first introduced, I might have gotten it. But since it's been a long time, I have proxies. I use Bran do Castro as my YJ BH. They shouldn't have waited so long.

I just found these for anyone interested. Looks like there is a design for the Thunderbolt.

I actually like the Bao concept design. I guess it just didn't translate well from 2D to 3D.

Previous sculpts looked more like authoritarian security force than just generic sci fi soldiers you got now

Oh yeah for sure. Many of the N2 era sculpts have way more character than current sculpts. Well, at least the new Bao concept looks a little more panther/leopard like than the 3D version.

Old Bao look like the iconic artwork, where a Bao scans a civilian. But the old box never realy triggerd me. I got them and paint them, but I always think that they look a little bit boring. It was an old box where 2 + 2 basic minis only differ from the variants of the arms. I like that the new ones look like they actualy have a lot of visor tech in their helmets. Very strang appearnes, but the little ears make them look a bit funny/cute also ... so mission not fully acomplished.

The Kanren looks totaly different from the older sculpts. I am not sure it represent the fluff well here. Wasn´t it some sort of counter riot unit - mostly on its own in some backwater places? But I like the new look which looks like a modern stealthy unit. Maybe the better vanguard ...

Link. Counter-Insurgency. They are internal police that fight home grown terrorists and others that want to bring down Yu Jing from within.

"Their modus operandi is based on undercover infiltration into their ranks to gather information and learn everything necessary about said movements."

This is a troop where the background has never been well represented on the table. Especially since the change to N5. If they really wanted them to be like the background they would have skills like: Impersonation and/or Hidden Deployment with Infiltration, Counter Intelligence, and very good CC ability (they nerfed them down in N5). Maybe also Combat Instinct, Sixth Sense, and NBW.
