The ISS look awesome! I think it's two Bao and a new Kanren. The only hackers with SMG are the Kanren, Vanguard, Ninja, and Celestial. The Stingers are pretty cool and the SAS is good.
The models are nice. I guess the ZeyBek will have to keep my Haqqislam heart warm for another month. I guess we will not hear anything about the Adepticon release in until late February.

Yes - two Bao, one Kanren and they look nice - yes - butt: The sniper is the only Bao from the old box with a correct weapon displayed on the mini ... I know CB likes snipers and hackers more than any other, but with this boxes of threes corsett we still not have a Thunderbolt. I see (another) missed opportunity here. SMG or LSG is more or less "egal". I miss the Contender for the Baos. Kanren is a radical new look. Hacker (HD) is fine. Not go well together with the old minis, but now we have: KHD Hacker, HD Hacker and Joker mini. I think the outfit would be better with the Vanguard. YJ: Welcome to the world of SMGs The Triangle-Heads look a bit akward but for CA its a remarkable design. It covers more or less all available options. The SRS looks nice (as always), I guess Ariadna players wait has an end now - finaly a resculpt ... this is SRS #11 ? (<- this is meant to be a joke). And a Yuan? €dith: Ah its a repack
they should follow that trend they used with the female yuan yuan and now the SAS. Take the old miniature. Keep the old pose. Just update scale and sculpt quality. Earn money PS: Yuan yuan thing is a repack of the two existing ones
Great idea of using the Kanren as a Vanguard. I love the new Kanren sculpt but not the Vanguard. I immediately thought of "what can I used it to proxy?" Vanguard hacker it is!
I thought the SAS was a repack for a moment! The ISS all have funny helmets and the sniper has weird looking hip / thigh area, something just seems off. Not bad otherwise - welcome to the SMG club, who needs weapon variety lol.
The new ISS seems to be targeted at people that loved everything about ISS except for its original aesthetic, background, gameplay, or character. Those Bao are hideous. New SAS looks amazing. Just an update to the classic, but it's still golden.
Baos are supposed to be leopards. Those helmets size look more like koalas, why are they so big? Too bad they didn't release the thunderbolt loadout. Love the SAS, nice update of an old classic.
Since it's already up on the website, i've updated the list. I put the Exclusive (whatever that means right now) Beasthunter under Special. While it's a YJ looking figure, It can obviously be used by anyone with Beasthunters available. Bio- and MS-Visors build in the helmets. I see her in our Whats-Up group. I have the TR Version, which is a beauty but a hell to build. This one looks a bit akward with its twisted torso. I am not realy happy with her and it seems its hard to get, so I will skip her. In Tag Raid its named Yu Jing Beasthunter so I think its legit to count er as YJ.
It's $20+ in the US. The prices have really been hurting me personally. There's several things I would have purchased if the price wasn't so high. Like the new Bao and Kanren is going to be about $55. At $18 a figure, it's hard to justify when I have old figures especially. But I'm not sure I'd get them if I didn't.
For me, I would still get the Kanren/Bao over the Yinshe/Gudan. Mainly because I don't have the old scuplts. Yinshe is nice but the Gudan sculpt is even more uninspired than the new Baos. But, I've promised myself to not buy anything new until my pile of shame is down to a more manageable size.
I like the single Yin Shi they have done but I think the Bao are good proxies for the Yin She and the Kanren is a good proxy for Vanguard. The Vanguard was disappointing. Nothing about it says "Hidden Deployment" or ARM2 Medium Infantry. While the new Kanren does. It's like they got them mixed up. Edit: Also, it's a good proxy for a Gudan. I'm always hesitant to buy camo troops like the Gudan. You spend a lot of money, then put it together and paint them, only to have them never show on the table. Edit: the same for combat jump troops. Hours of painting for minutes of play. lol
But this minute are very precious ... and you can look at them in the cabinet. I have a lot of painted minis that wait a year or so for action, because I do not enough games
I like almostly all of them. More or less, but they are nice. Especially new Bao. But the only thing that looks not for me are Stingers. To be honest, their heads are disharmonise with other CA forms. Like sculptor was lazy and decided to not worry about this part. Just dropped simple forms. And, sadly, I don't see much options to fix it without additional materials.
Has there been no news of anything coming out at Adepticon? Usually there's something big happening for it. I think last year it was ISS. I remember picking up the Dragon Lord.
