Robert Shepherd won Cancon26 with Ariadna. I guess this changes the idea that Ariadna are no longer a losing faction, as suggested previously by Ariadna players. The October 2025 update has made the faction competitive.

Since the October update, videos and articles seem to generally say that TAK and Kosmoflot were OP and that the others were okay but required expertise.

CanCon takes place every long weekend during Australia Day in Canberra, Australia, and while I've missed the last few Infinity events at CanCon (playing other systems or taking a year off), this year I came out of hibernation to try my luck at my first major N5 event. In this video, we will discuss the choice of factions and lists for the event, cover the five games played over two days, and experience the humiliating moment of realizing a rules mistake I made in a game during recording (the Kibervolk are very good, but they don't have Climbing Plus, no matter how long I thought in every practice game that they did).
