I get it, but I hope next time they do this they have a some information they are cleared to answer or present. It makes events like theses more exciting. I would love audio books though. The White Noise fiction episodes were my favorite.
Next wave has a good aesthetic but I don't like the execution of this pack K2 look good Mukthar... platform lady has a lot of problems, I can't even be bothered to comment futher. Mr smiley face Mukthar has a weird, smiley helmet.
It's possible that they took 4, maybe 5 models that no-one liked, and packed them in with firm favorites. The decision maybe looks less 'weird' from this perspective.
Oh god, I see it now. I always thought that the Mukhtar faces were pretty bad, but now it's irreversibly worse. I might be able to get away with sculpting over it, maybe? It'd be a lot of work, but it's an important profile.
A simple and clean sculpting solution could be to just fill the smiley face and eyes. A blank face plate with just the visor as detail.

More KS is disappointing. I've already got more than enough. Also, shouldn't there be a celestial controller with them or come out first? And 2 with BSG? I've only ever taken it if I happen to have 2 points and can't upgrade anything else. Still not worth it. I will say they are great looking though. Just not at all what I want. The Ariadna look cool. Especially the running engineer. Wow that sky hound! I don't know if it's cool or not. But it does seem to fit the NW look. More like vCA.
Ariadna Support pack feels a little like a missed opportunity. Could have used this occasion to include equipment choices that did not already have in circulation models (blitzen, turrets and deployable cover for Dozer for example). Do find the designs pretty cool though.
That would be as bad as the Shenji. $50+ for essentially one figure. Turrets and dep cover my never show on the board. Or you take the option that does have it. A lot of money for very little.
The Essentials: Ariadna Support Pack looks like a great pack for new people or people new to Ariadna. I also really like the models as they all have character. While I am sad that the skyhound is not a dinosaur, it is significantly weird and ominous looking.
That what I thought also. 3rd gen Kuang Shi. Why? Whats wrong with the 2nd gen? Two BSG? And a pack of four? So next we got CG special weapons? Where are the Bao? The ladybug for next wave looks good. Futuristic drone. And then still the ur-old mr worm Ariadna support is aktualy new. I do not like the running pose, but new Axe looks nice and Tak doc is okay. Not sure Ariadna needs this update so much ...
Ariadna Support pack: Nonsense. Who wants a Doktor kazak and a 112 at the same time? Also, we need the 112 on bike, not the on foot version (and the old one was cooler. New one is technically better sculpted, but looks a bit boring and soulless) CA flier should be simply a caskuda with less armor, not this... this.
Some interesting takes on the new stuff and repacks. I've no intention on getting my Morats a Dr Wrm model, happy to proxy many other things in its place, missed opportunity here (I never read why they have a worm as a doctor, so this one has always been lost on me). Doesn't Ariadna have two packs with the existing 112, as well as a biker 112, a doc and dozer and zombidozer already ? I do like the new Kazak Dok. but the dozer's running pose whilst holding a knife and pistol is too dangerous (gonna hurt himself) and should leave it to the warcor for posing so! CA flying bug - Morats don't fly, they use Pogo sticks (hehe), so this one is lost on me. Normally this take on repeated models is where I stand - Muyibs being a staple example where I still prefer the N2/3 over the two newer variants made. However, I only just bought into Imperial Service on Black Friday with the new stuff. This new box is just right for me - as I don't own any Kuang Shi and feel the previous ones fit better with the past IS models in size/design etc. I'm glad they included both weapon types (which covers options, even if they aren't both taken), we all know Infinity is proxy happy, and as I like the look of the YJ Shotguns, it's a bonus for me. I'm ok to proxy the Celestial from the big box as the Monitor for now, plus I'm pleased they didn't add one and make it 3 KS and 1 CS.
