A priori yes, it should be part of the future 2026 book that will introduce the rest of the factions. We should have campaign rules and narrative rules, certainly outside of the book as with the basic rules. Looking at my notes on the French forum, there was at least one interview on the German internet that talks about it in general terms. Looking at the notes from the main post, I realized that I forgot to add to it as I went along. So yes, you can expect rules.
CB provides us some statistics. Seems like New Wave was the bestseller in 25 and they produced more WC minis then Infinity.
Despite all the incredible publicity, I wouldn't have bet on the success of a sectorial that simply put humans in shasvastii armor and surfed on the codes of Dino Riders, with a base of Appleseedians geeks. Unless there were a lot of fans of American franchises from the 70s and 80s lurking among us? The impersonator detection jet has failed, we're colonized. I was surprised by the fact that there were more Warcrow releases than Infinity - I was sure it was the other way round, so this is the year of the tipping point. Speaking of Appleseed, as a Christmas present, I saw that I have Dark Horse Comics USA, they're going to be releasing huge integrals of Shirow's mangas (2kg books in A4 format), there'll be Appleseed, Dominion,... it's coming out this summer, so the worldwide shortage could finally come to an end. https://x.com/DarkHorseComics/status/1996611065132536053
So - Dinos with guns are working ... it would be interesting too see the sales compared to the ones from Torchlight and ISS. Warcore has startet now and have to be pushed before it gets cold (more factions!). Appelseed - my beloved anime comic, even a bit better then GitS. Thankfully I have it already.
Allow me to brighten your day even more, and excuse the off topic: https://x.com/DarkHorseComics/status/1996611065132536053
Not only that, the actual numbers of new Infinity minis is much lower than what CB published. They might have released 175 minis, but almost half of those weren't new, but repacks of existing sculpts. The actual number of new sculpts CB released for Infinity this year is 95 – much less than the 119 from 2024 and not even in the same ballpark as the 134 they released in 2023. You can check the numbers yourself here.
