In my continuing quest to find appropriate crossover references, I keep learning new stuff myself. For example, that there is actually a character called "Crimson Corsair" in the Star Wars universe who goes by the name of Sidon Ithano, and he has a red Twi-Lek in his crew called Reveth.

So there you go, Reveth is my reference for the female Korsan, while the male one will be painted after Sidon himself :)

Thanks! Here's the second Korsan, painted after Sidon Ithano:

    And here's the duo:

    I could if I wanted to – but I don't :D

Here's a little outlier. Some backstory to explain: My first Al'Hawwa was painted after the studio scheme instead of a Star Wars reference because it was supposed to be part of my "all studio scheme" StarCo project. Now that I got a second Al'Hawwa, I couldn't really break the pattern. Especially since it sounded like a fun challenge to apply the old Al'Hawwa scheme to the new sculpt (something the box art clearly didn't try to do).

So here you go: New Al'Hawwa in the old N2 studio scheme:

And here are both together. You can see how the updated sculpt forced me to make some decisions regarding color distribution, but I think I got quite the similar effect:

Almost coming to the end of the reinforcemts box, here's the Hafza painted as a Death Watch Mandalorian. Turns out these guys have more than their share of shady business in their background, what throwing in with Darth Maul and all. Also, the design of the Hafza again was surprisingly close to their Star Wars equivalents:

    Thank you :)

It's a new year, but there's still stuff from the old one to share. So let me start off 2026 with the last miniature from the Haqqislam Reinforcement Pack Alpha, aka the N4 QK starter set – the Burkut. My reference for him was Piz Viszla, the heavy Mandalorian guy from the tv show:
