Thanks for the confirmation. Well I hope they clean up the skills and weapons then because some don't exist anymore or nerfed. An SMG is 4xp along with Shock Marksman, BSG, and Breaker Combi. It shouldn’t be more than 1xp now. Or even on there because the troops already come with combi rifles. They also need to take out troops like the Muyib and Deva who already comes with a lot of skills and equipment. That gives them a huge advantage. Haqq has the Ghulam in all sectorals, but honestly i'm not sure what Aleph/OSS could use. The only line troops are Deva and Dakini. Personally, I think they should make a new Spec Op troop for each faction rather than basing it on something existing. That way they can all start a little even and each one has a skill or stat that's appropriate for the faction to give faction flavor. Like +BS for PanO, +1 WIP Haqq, etc. They would also start with no weapons at all and you need to buy them with the XP.

Dunno Varuna, it would be really mixed (possibly specific pieces, since it's too close in time to its dissapearance), but Acontecimiento had really sweet models that had just been resculpted. Merovingia and Caledonia, however, I doubt there would be a great enough demand precisely because of the opposite (discontinued too long ago, so most of those who wanted the comeback of the profiles already had the models, and others may have left the game already). Also, considering the defection of Team Achilles, Acontecimiento has some holes in the lineup, specifically no MSV2 (Teucer was the only one) for example. I would suggest upgrading the sniper regular to MSV2.

I do think they look cool but i'm more interested in the background. How man humans joined? Why they joined? etc.
From what I understand so far they are combined army citizens from the occupied, now officially recognized as CA territories.
Very excited to see the reveal tomorrow. I’m also curious what early access for first purchases means.. is that like, anyone who preorders within a certain timeframe or a limited number of purchases once it goes live. I hope it the first. Seems like if it’s the latter it will ruffle feathers… Either way it will be out soon for everyone and I’m excited to see how this sectorial looks. I’m really digging the aesthetic and the couple profiles teased seem promising.
A detail here, both are old "limited edition" models. Since those earlier in the year were recovered ones too, I think we can expect this trend to stay. While I understand some people will be upset because this may lower the resale value of the prior release, I think it's a good idea to let people get in the train if they want... and if CB wants to, it can be a way to gauge interest for OOP sectorials, just being somewhat strategic with the releases, like offering two or three half box of Acontecimiento Regulars (that is, 2 boxes with 2 regulars each from the special weapons box and a third one with just combi rifles) that can also serve as fusiliers. As usual, the old clients get a redundant piece. If you were a loyal first-wave customer (or grabbed the box at half price still with the promo Pandora like me, more than a year after the release of Blackwind...) you get a second version of a model you can have only one of... I'd have preferred if the Team Achilles had been packaged with each other, aside from Drakios (because of the Silhouette change to 5, I bet he'll be half-serpent, or half-dinosaur, or mounting a dinosaur or something... I don't understand how he's still VITA1 without NWI however) so we oldies had a chance to use the models we already have... For me, if it's a choice between duplicate characters (even if the sculpt is new) or not getting the new troops... I save the money. It means a limited amount of the boxes (usually the first run) will have an extra model of S2 or so. Depending on the interest the faction grabs and how big that first wave of boxes is, you can run out pretty fast, or you can still find boxes with "exclusive for first buyers" years later (Spiral starter box for example... and the old JSA one too until a few months before N5 launched). Desperation and greed are the first tool in the swindler's book, sadly. The reality is they would change a life of misery for one of servitude. And all things consiedered, many would jump in even with their eyes fully open. Frankly, I'd have no issue with this even if the CA had gotten no territories at all. Just being able to have embassies and preach the graces of the EI would have netted them enough people to justify several times what New Wave would represent in-universe.
Like I said with the Libertos, joining CA is nearly all upside for a lot of people in the margins. It also did not help how much the Human Sphere leaders kept most of the population from knowing how existential the threat of Evolved Intelligence. And with Achilles as the spokesperson for Next Wave, who wouldn't join?
Next wave is a really hard mix of design hits an misses to me. Overall decent design for the Harbingers, Cricket Jump Pack Man (Cliffhanger?) and Pandora but then there's a robot dino with a (Nomad) hatched strapped to its face and another guy riding a robot dino. Both look just really dumb to me
No. If I wanted to play dino riders I'd play The Drowned Earth There are already more than enough ridden Bikes in this game for my taste.
C'mon, you get a big computer and get it to make something that will be popular with humans. Of course it comes up with gorram dinosaurs. Given what we have recently seen IRL regarding AI antics, does it surprise you? Trust AI / EI / however you name it, and that's how it ends...
