Can anyone confirm if there will be a Happy Days event for the returned factions OOP models? I'd love to expand on my old n2 SAA force! If this isn't planned, would CB consider it if the community demonstrates enough appetite?
We did show interest at Freak Wars, and they took note of it (they also took a picture :p ), but who knows how will it turn out.
I've been looking forward to another Happy Days event. I'm an advocate for Penthesilea in her Aleph getup holding her sword on the sci-fi bike (not the Amazon model), also the last Taureg Murabid hacker and Odalisque Spitfire model that was all-too-quickly removed (sure, she had a small spitfire, but was a nice model). I'm sure there could be some good ideas for the returning factions too. Something like Desperado's, Carmen and Batard, Emily Handelman, and definitely the Acontecimento starter (such a nice box, again, removed before its time, maybe even just the regulars would be great as I'd pick them up and not even to play Acon).
If the Acon stuff and the Uhlan became available to buy, either as Happy Days or as Black Friday only, I'd likely buy it. Since we're all wishlisting, Emily Handelman and the event exclusive Shikami would also be lovely additions.
I would love if CB yearly would do a poll: CB proposes their choice of 10 OOP models and the community gets to vote (maybe using the Corvus Sphere App). The top 4 get a Happy Days release.
Whilst it's another way to go .. I'm not sure restricting the desire for this or limiting the models is a good way to do it. I believe there were more than 4 models in the Happy Days last time. (there were a least 6 different models that I recall at least - 2x BH, Sniper, Miranda, Marlene, Tikbalang, CSU). Besides, having fewer means many people won't be reaching the threshold of free shipping and may shy away from making an order (I know I have almost every time except Happy Days and Black Friday). Having just a couple more caters for different tastes and helps hit that threshold.
