It can't be used to make F2F rolls if that's your question. It's more like a Pitcher that creates an Eclipse zone at the end of the order

 

Good question. Looking at the weapon profile for Disco Baller on Page 182 of the Rulebook, it's an Uncategorized Weapon and has nothing stated for it's ammo type.

I suspect it should have Eclipse listed there but doesn't. Maybe the upcoming PDF update will address that.

I initially thought it would because it's a BS attack that creates a circular Eclipse template. But you're right, it's technically a BS Attack that creates a Disco Ball token, and the Disco Ball token is what dispenses the smoke. The Disco Baller itself does not have an ammo type associated with it.
