What would you suggest as a strategy/units to take when facing Joan of Arc 2.0? Thanks

I'm a new member returning to Infinity from N2. Imagine that I'm going second, and I need to defend against a first strike from Joan of Arc 2.0. How would you prepare group force for that attack?

    Was the pun intended? :joy:

    Whatever works on HI.
Isolation (added bonus if she was acting Lt and/or Fireteam Leader)
    E/M ammos
Brute force (Hawkwood with K1 Sniper Rifle? Agema hidden deployment with Multi Sniper - added bonus if you get her in LoS with her second move skill...)

Are you playing Aleph against PanO?
    Joan is a PanO model...

Not a pun. I last played Infinity in N2 and frankly I'm a little overwhelmed with all the changes.

Yes I'm playing ALEPH. It's been about 10 years since I played and I'm trying to get a handle on all the changes.

Try the revised Thyreos. They now have Camo and can be good skirmishers to slow down Alpha attacks. The hacker profile could be a good choice to threaten hacking (Oblivion or Carbonite) and it also has E/M Mines. E/M is very powerful this edition.

Linked Hawkwood is one of toughest AROs currently in the game, but is probably too expensive to use in Vanilla Aleph. (He is great in White Company though). He is still good as a solo piece though.

Zayin are still good. Look at the Thunderbolt profile to save some points. They don't need to kill, just waste your opponents orders. Then you can counter-attack.
