"For me what's unique about QK is the access to Hafza Wildcard (Holomask) to make great mind games. I often only take one Ghulam LT in my list and have a Hafza HRL Holomask as a Ghulam Decoy and when they go for the LT kill they get a surprise ;P .
I do the reverse also and present the most nasty ARO piece in a good angle but in fact it's only a FO Hafza and I just want to deny some map access. The Samsa is about the only midfield option you get.

The Yuan Yuan are great to smoke up for the Djanbazan. The Azra'il and Janissaries are great but I like running the cheap tags in a QK list with the Deployable Cover engineer to park it into the midfield in suppressive fire with ARM 12.

QK is a a fun trickster sectorial with about average everything from CC to Hacking. It doesn't fall short anywhere in particular but isn't very specialized either."

=> "I have taken QK to multiple top 10 finishes in Satellite tournaments. I love them and always thought people were wrong about them. I just want to chime in and say I feel the Hafza HRL pretending to be your LT can work but is also really risky. Whatever they are sending to kill your Ghulam can definitely kill that Hafza. And when they kill it they are rewarded by taking 1.5 of your swc out of the game. I have used it to great effect but can also be a weakness to your list.

On Odalisques: Midrange Shooting is not only Spitfire but also Contender (better range bands up to 32"). Odalisques are great in a duo with Laxmee. And I do not think they had Immunity (shock) in N4.

Nick missed the ball with the odalisque analysis. 24 points for a pseudo 2 wound model with a contender, submachine gun, burst 2 pulsar and multi pistol that can duo or Haris with sekban and laxmee is a fantastic piece. Are you bringing a bunch of them? Probably not. But they are amazing defensive pieces to fill out a duo or haris

I do think they have their place but I’d agree with Nick that they lack a general applicability. An odelisque being the most expensive thing in the link doesn’t feel great and as a wildcard, there’s other places that laxmee can go. I do admit I am quite partial to the contender and flash pulse profile and that said haris is an effective one with overlapping keywords, which I’m a HUGE fan of! Not sure id take one otherwise tho and probably never more than 1 but I agree they have a place, albeit a small one :))) thanks for commenting!

24 points for 2 wounds isn't that expensive. It's also the same price as laxmee herself ;) I don't disagree that you aren't going to take more than 1 in most lists.
