N4/C1 Token Design Questions

    The way my meta plays, an Order (any Order) is placed next to a model when & where it is being declared / spent (this allows you to backtrack if you have actually expended all the Orders you've executed, or you have managed to skip one in the fray). Then again, placing an Impetous or Irregular Order next to a model generating it would be a handy way of keeping track of what and where is avaialble (esepcially once one starts spending Command tokens to "regularize" Irregular Orders), so flipping it the "spent" side up would allow for better tracking of it.

    IMO, you could use the same design as for the respective Order, just change the color palette - from yellow / red to gray.

    The rule book say you put a marker (no Impetuous Orders anymore, so no AROs possible!... j/k, just another fuckup in the book) and remove it at some point (pages 23 and 101). But having something flipable sounds faster, as you always have it near the model, showing useful info. And fuck the brain damaged rules.

    The local practice says you remove your Order tokens form the table at the turn's end.

    Since Assignable(W) use models that are token instead, and i saw some token lke tinbot (where some miniature exists) it would be possible to have some SymbioBomb and SymbioMate tokens?

    At the time I was first designing the new tokens (pre-annex rules), I brought up some questions about these in the forum because the N4 rulebook referred to Symbiomates several times but there were actually no listed rules for them or for Symbiobombs (and at the time the Army Builder was not complete). There was also a line item in the equipment list in the N4 book for Symbiobugs but no units that had them... but since there were at least some written rules for them at the time, I added them to the tokens.

    I wasn't sure after the Annex came out if anyone would actually need tokens for these, but now that you've asked @Arkaon1125 I will work on creating them and passing them along to @toadchild

    Hey y'all, I'm back. I've been spending most of my time on my local Infinity discord for the past couple years, which is why you haven't seen me around. I had a correspondance with @toadchild regarding the N4 tokens, but at a certain point I think he stopped posting updates.
    I'm ready to make some updated and additional tokens for N5.
    On my list are the following so far:
    • speedball (multiple kinds)
    • deployable cover (variations)
    • tactical awareness order
    • turret variations
    • disco baller (on/off)

      Let me know if anything else seems vital. I'd be happy to take on the responsibility of hosting a token generator if the ghostlords code isn't getting updated anymore. Let's figure something out.
      UPDATE: got in touch and it looks like we'll be bringing some of the updates to the ghostlords site soon

    2025 is off to a great start having read your post.

    I assume you’ve got it covered under your “multiple kinds’ caveat, but there’s the speedball tokens themselves + the tokens for the stuff they can result in dropping from the sky.

    Glad to see you back!

    As for tokens, I guess updated Booty tokens are in order, too - covering the variant equipment meant for TAGs.

    As for on/off tokens, I have handled it ages ago for my Lt / Impetous / Irregular Orders: printed them in color on one side, and black-and-white on the other, and flipping them to indicate whether they are still there, or already spent.
    ...then again, I guess a separate "off" tokens might be making sense for people who don't do two-sided tokens.

    Hey guys, so I've been in touch w/ Toadchild and I believe he'll be putting new tokens up shortly if he hasn't already.

    Did Toadchild, mention whether the new tokens would be added to the existing N4 token generator URL or if he’s going to create a new N5 section?

    Thank you again for all the time and effort you put into this. I know command panels are all the rage but I prefer the cheaper option of printing my own and without you and Toadchild that wouldn’t be as easy as it is.

    Given there are various types of turrets (I have noticed AP and Standard in my armies, and others may possibly have other) it would be probably a good idea to accomodate for that.

    ...albeit I guess I'll get to using a model for that...

    Apart from that, I love the Speedball content tokens! A pity the Booty and MetaChemistry are too much of a bother to be given the same treatment (I remember the N4 attempt, so I do know why...).

    I got some updated token gfx from Lawson and will post an N5 page in a bit. I’m currently on medical leave from work and will look at some of the Infinity projects one I’m able to get on my laptop comfortably.

    Yeah I feel like a lot of people were going to do models for their turrets anyways so I didn't go nuts on them - I would have needed to create quite a number of different designs and/or text and it felt like it could actually be somewhat limiting (needing to grab your token for a specific turret or turrets) vs just having 1-9 numbered turrets (similar to camo tokens) which people could say "hey my #1 turret is a combi" etc.
