Well, Vanilla Haqqislam had some major changes. It will take some time to adapt. Major immediate ones: Duos are much more restrictive. Much increased availability to Viral Mines AVA 1Barid AVA 2 Al'hawwa AVA 2 Tuaregs with significant changes. It also looks like only some Pistols have a CC mode (like Cobra Pistols). Things will be quite different. And CB continues to refuse to give our basic engineer a Deactivator . @Koni, I am starting to take this personally
Azra'il kept BS attack(continuos damage) and gained a chain rifle and BS attack(SR-1). She is still a monster.
At least hafza has chain of command in one profile(one command hability). Leila has improved his hacking. Korsan has profile with foward deployment and parachutism (deployment zone). Najjarun now can have turrent or cover. Ragiks Lost fusil+shotgun profiles. All zhayedan profiles has CD(shock). Tuaregs go to medic school with jannis, and now has doc(2h) instead of (+3). Cheers.
All Smoke Grenades no longer have a +3 range Viral weapons are not DA against STR units and are less SWC. Lasiqs gained Marksmanship. Korsans continue to be confusing. Khawarij are still glass hammers and Muktars went down in price. Saladin is ridiculous with Albedo, Counter Intelligence, Emitter, and Triangled Fire. Note that Triangled fire no longer causes a -3; uses base BS. Fiday are cheaper, but Biovisors discover them directly (Skipping IMP-2) and IMP-1 only creates a -3 to discover penalty. Djanbazan gained Warhorse and got 3 points cheaper. Shakush HMG gained Continuous Damage!!!! Farzan minelayer cheaper but now cost SWC (End of an Era). CoC profile is now cheap. Zaybak Flyer is for hunting MSV units. Has Albedo and 3 structure with escape system (so really 2 structure). Hunzacut gained boarding Pistols (chain colt with a direct fire mode. Shihab has a cheap no SWC option with Thunderbolt (+1 Burst). EDIT: Huge change:.Shotgun may no longer have any templates. This is a first for Infinity as they have always had a template option.

That's indeed just great. And they can make nice defensive Duos with also Muyibs and Govads. Love it.

Note that is only for HB. In Vanilla, the Duos and fireteams are much worse than before, IMO. The Shujae in HB also vastly improved with minelayer 2 profiles and access to a viral rifle. A nice surprise is the 14 point Bashi Bazouks with an AP T2 rifle. The Najjarun might be worth it for the Deployable cover option. Deployable cover gives +6 to the Saving Roll (ARM +Deployable cover max of 12 due to the rule). This allows TAGs to even fight AP weapons. A Shakush Continuous Damage HMG in Deployable Cover might be a decent option.

I think we are in the same spot when N4 started. Haqqislam being "worse" because many rules impacted they play style, but in fact it was really really good. Now, once more, changes, but still good. I will see on the table the day after tomorrow. Ramah... let´s see
