It has a flamethrower, a heavy flamethrower. That's a pretty good weapon against armour. At least for the points cost of the profile.
Ah come on infinity only players. Warcrow is not impacting infintiy releases any more than the old world is impacting 40k. Warcrow sold out because...everyone cb to stores to players ordered conservatively. The game company needs to make sure they don't overstock and miniatures...despite thr wisdom of the masses...are not actually quick to turn around and build stock back up. The game is doing fine for what it is...2 limited armies with a lot of potential in about a year. Infintiy releases are rolling along and all of the drama of deliveries and shipping is just the time of year and the world kind of still sucking everywhere for lots of reasons. N5 rules are not being reworked or play tested more...they just needed more time for translation errors and profiles to be loaded. Lord forbid they release and take a month to have every profile loaded and ready for their fans...sonwe got delayed. Could cb not be early 2000s gw for communication- yes they could. Warcrow desperately needs an faq and errata 4 months into release and some more direct and consistent messaging would be great. However, this is real life and cb staff are employees working for a company. This time of year it is hard to drive and push and get things done. Just a fact of the world and everyone that can take a well deserved break is exhausted after all of the drive to get to the final few weeks.
News, lists N5 for Ariadna : Spoiler: + All lists here : https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...ng-room-for-the-n5.43140/page-119#post-479853 Tomorrow they'll send what's left.
Mini FAQ by Koni for Hawkwood : Q: Genghis Cohen: Man I hope Hawkwood gets some work done. Cool concept, only OK as a model [16:23]Koni (CB Staff): He gets Sniper K1 instead of the Marksman Rifle, and gain the skill BS Attack (+1SD), and points drop. And stealth
Remember when I said this?! OK ok, it's not "new" but it is to them. We don't know new rules either. But I hate it when I'm right .
Wow, that really highlights how much USARF could use some love, so much smaller than the other two. Well here's hoping!
USAriadna's not getting even a single new unit. That is, after two sectorials of the same faction are gone and a third one is receiving several new units. This is absolutely inexplicable.
Yeah I don't understand why they didn't do MRRF. They at least got some of the REF troops. USARF is cool but they need some of their own Reinforcements! More than QK does I think.
Spoiler: quotes from folks Do you want to hear a cool statistic? The last time USARF got a new model was in march, 2018. Before the N4. It was a Blackjack HMG.
I agree that patience is a better response than anger, if only because what will the anger get you? ... besides angry, that is. That said, this is a situation of their own making. No one else compelled them to set the release time frames they did, or suggested that everything had to drop right before the holidays. Better planning (and subsequent better communication) would make this much less frustrating.
I just think they got ahead of themselves. They could have done the new JSA and PanO with N4 rules and then done N5 for Adepticon next year. No one would have been the wiser. Sometimes going too fast is worse than going slow.
But its only lore ... Longarms in Bak was like they took some refugees from Tohaa/Spiral and don´t know what to do with seem in their military. So they eventualy put down their weapons and open some artishock food shops... The only reason for Zellen in Bak is that they match the zoo-like feeling. With Morlocks already etablishmented they are redudant. Maybe only the big broccoli but anyway so its the only place where you can fit the whole box in. Depends on how Anaconda turns out in N5. At the moment I would say before I take Ana I take no TAG at all. I see it as an candidate to go the way that old machines have to go ... Sally is good playable in TJC and now that all things are getting a price reduction - even better. I do not miss Digger or Wolfgang. I never played them. Diabolos are the CJC Digger, but a bit more expensive. They have the same job. I wonder - and like - that the RO stayed in CJC I thought it was more a season thing and go back to O-12 after the events of Endsong. Yeah I thought the same. Mentaly I was more ready for loosing my painted Iggy to shelf stay (its there since a very big while) then my only primed Kamau. Both TAGs can be easily proxed as Triphammers.
I know. But they decided to include Vanilla and sectorial lists in the book, and now that information is wrong (partially) PS: Is really nice to have yuan yuans in old JSA sectorial
I really like the idea of taking one of the older sectorials - for some factions at least - and reworking them purely as reinforcements. Certainly NCA for PanO, FRRM for Ariadna. This would allow to keep them in circulation, give something to the sectorial players.
I missed this! This is the JSA beasthunter correct. It certainly has similar stats. I think most of the time it will me the HFT for me. The YJ one was an always take for me and this is almost the same. Holy cow I didn't see JSA gets yuan yuan! Banzai!!
For me, I always selected the Digger over the Diablos. Cheaper, does not need an Engineer to heal, and does its job well. I could never find the points to use a Diablo in my lists. The two wolves, I thought, were out of place in Nomads. Never used the Raveneye Officer, but now he stays, maybe I can squeeze him in. What I would like to see is blister packs of two troopers. it would be nice to purchase separate smaller packs than an entire action pack for one or two miniatures. I would like some Tomcats and Hellcats, but the only miniatures are available in action packs, which I do not need more unused miniatures. I hope the profiles have been updated to reflect the changes we currently see being drip fed. If Corregidor do not receive any changes, they may just be a lesser viable sectorial for N5.
Sad SP list, even with the return of Thamrys, for whatever reason. OSSSSS now has Hawkwood, Maximus, Andromeda, Le Muet, Parvati etc... which feels like some future plot about going to kill team Achilles or something.
Maximus, Andromeda, Parvati and reinforcements are already in OSS. News are Hawkwood, Minimus, and Le Muet. As ALEPH, is not featured in N5 book, I can imagine SP (and even OSS) roster to evolve with the release of future book. I have the feeling it's the same for QK and USAriadna that are here to have three sectorials for factions that can have three, but will evolve with future releases (being reworked or replaced).
