Looks good, that is a really nice gradient.

It looks good, nice sharp edges with smooth gradient. For me, personally, the ring is a little too saturated and a bit too strong. I might've chosen a more analogous colour, or a gradient closer to her dress.

It's been a month since I posted here, but there are still a few more minis from this project left to share. These two colorful helper bots for example:

It's been a while since I painted something for my Dutch friend's JSA, but he recently commissioned the new Sokorentai. As a little gift, I scratch-built a pilot from a spare Kaizoku spec-ops and painted him in the same colors:

Always amazing. :D Is that still the oilcolor wetblending method?

Really nice work. I think I need to steal the Bases for my CA/Shasvastii. :innocent: They have excatly the colors I want o try.
And the color-gradient on the weapons would be a great fit for Nomads, too.

My friend @moardredd who I painted these JSA for recently came for a visit, which allowed to reshoot some minis whose pictures I had lost or that had no proper pictures in the first place. So enjoy a couple of older paintjobs in new light!

The first thing that comes to mind is praying mantis, I think it is a good thing.

That was the idea, yeah :) The female Oniwaban especially have something quite insect-like I think.

Next up, we have Shinobu Kitsune. Back when I painted her in 2022, it was the first time I tried a decloaking effect, and let's just say I found a lot of room for improvement after that initial attempt...

Clever idea cloaking mimicking the base.
