You can simply re activate your holoechoes, so the skill can be reused, its not like a camouflage 1 use.

That been said you are right we do not know how holoechoes will be handled in N5.

    Also,
    • Janissaries can work in Fireteams. Up to full-sized Core.
    • Janissaries and Asawira pack AP weapons. Making them actually useful against HI and even TAGs if the range is right.
I see Janissaris as our generalist HI.

Ayyar... nope, up close they can only rely on their twin Viral Pistols. They are mid- and medium+ range gunfighters.
And as I've already mentioned, kinda overpriced.

One more thing: I no longer see the purpose for their Holomask. With Limited Insertion / Tactical Window, there really isn't space in the lists for two extra (if fake) models. Making it an overpriced ability you cannot really use.

True - but at the cost of an Entire Order Skill - and performed out of sight of your opponents.

In my opinon, this makes it a prohibitively expensive option.
While I do use it with Camouflaged models or Impersonators - assuming the situation allows - I do it at the end of the turn, to help them survive my opponent's Active turn (automatic reactivation of Holos is indeed a bonus here).
If I had to spend an extra Order merely to regain my Surprise Attack -6 advantage, well... maybe if I were to take another attempt at a TAG with E-Mitter or Zapper (assuming the TAG has no DTW). Otherwise it becomes not-cost-effective in my eyes.

Well, the Aleph vid dropped, and there aren't many factions left. Ariadna and PanO have leaked, but they may still get their respective vids.
I guess we might see Haqq no later than next week.

Though judging by Aleph, I wouldn't expect more than one-two new units in vanilla Haqq. How much will we get trimmed, that's another kettle of fish.

Probably there will be a lot of fun when the Aleph / Haqq lorebook drops, though.

    Someone will gripe either way.

Tomorrow would make me happy, a list of the vanilla sectorial so I can start reorganizing. Again. Hopefully with a nice backstory blurb of better quality than the Bohktar's. I'm so stupid bitter.

Listening to an old WIP 12 episode on Dashat and reminded me that a nice new profile for Odalisques would be paramedic profile: it would give them a specialist and make fluffy sense as they should be able to do emergency first aid on a client.

Yeah, i think that for specialist profile the odalisques should have medic/paramedic and/or some sort of defensive hacker (like hacker: Zero pain).

    Cheers.

As we wait for November 18th, below are the models I am hopeful Haqqislam will get in 2025:

-Jannisaries Box (Horlak Sniper, HMG, Missile Launcher, Doctor)
    - Odalisques Box
    -Viral Sunduqbut
    -Unicol Maggie
    -New Mutts

Why though? The Sunduqbut has no identifiable weapon, so it is basically a universal proxy.

Also, we'll have to see how does the Sunduqbut look like in N5.

For example, whether there is still a Feuerbach one. Personally I cannot find a reason to fit it into a list...

I see the Beyond one as a AP Spitfire, but I get what you are saying. I also just want it be easier to obtain. The Beyond Box has been rare for me to find.

If the old box was ok, we only need ther rescale of HMG, and the rifle + light shotgun who is n2 era, i belive. Djambazan is out of sale? We need new hafza, maybe in a box starter for QK.

    Cheers.

Assuming that Trinagulated Fire works like it did in N4 - that's some interesting ideas.

Whatever Bangbomb & Discoballer are. Thunderbolt was mentioned on some PanO troop, I just don't recall it.

Also, Ayyar lost Holomask. Which was of little use there.
And got a mite chepaper, but that's along the lines inidcated for other HI. So, remains relatively expensive for the HI it is.

    So, a Dodge +4 vs. non-template attacks?

I don't remember the profile of thunderbolt, but think has more Range as fusil. Could be good hunter for some aro pieces.

Nitpicking here, but from the text it seems either LoS or ZoC (and non-Template, of course). Meeting one of the conditions is requied for the skill to apply, not necessarily both.
