From what he said, it's a cost thing. To keep the price low, they are using things they pretty much already have. No new molds, no printing, etc. So terrain, and 3 figures each for about $40 is very cheap way for new people to try it out.

I love all the Sandtrap models, even though I have never been a JSA fan. The terrain also looks unique and the desert theme is great. The box looks like it will be worth it!

The studio update was useful as it collected all the currently known information. Looking forward to finding more about how things will change with N5!

The JSA half look fantastic to me. If I hadn't got hard into O-12 recently I'd be getting them. I've always liked JSA but never had the money to start another faction.

I love the JSA part, but, i dont know how to express, they feel visually too noisy (does that make any sense??) compared with the actual JSA units.

Agreed, the Nokizaru with its overkill pose sports a number of straps and chest pouches - could sign up to be a PanO/CJC crossover model. His and the Jizamurai heads look very busy and unclear, with the Jiza also sporting a lot of pouches and a busy upper chest / head area that I can't make out in the images. I do like that they kept the consistency with the below knee look.

Raiden is very detailed though seems to work for the model - except the weird head design which I feel lets it down. Wonder if a spare Shikami head will work!

I love the many attention to details the models have, its a sand planet and the helmetless models have googles, the HI is protecting its servo muscles with cloth covers, the webbing suggest a planet with high winds.

    I like PanO part.
JSA is JSA. They have their own style.

There are several moments, that are sad for me:
    - It is another "Operation ****", and we had to wait full set.
Or normal action pack, if we would keep that format.
    - fusiliers are differ from those we have in a box with special weapons.
(I hope for something special for this force like Acon had)
I doubt, there would be renewed box with extra options. But if it would - I am happy.

Really! I really see a bit of Villeneuve Dune vibe attached to the PanO layout.
The fusiliers with the Atreides officers hat, the Banshee, Black AIR and Scarecrow have a bit of Harkonnen troopers vibe.
    Really love them

Goddamn it. Now I can’t unsee it. Love Dune in general and I’m a huge fan of the Villeneuve films. Welp, guess I’m painting these PanO in Atreides colours then! Ooh, perhaps I can do the JSA in Sardaukar colours?

I’m really looking forward for the army app! If they have significantly different troops than N4 PanO (which I painted close to standard PanO issue) I might go for black to really have the Harkonnen style. While Vladimir Harkonnen is in fact a HUGE asshole, in the books and the movie alike, in the books he was a bright cold hearted political genius. I find that in the movie Villeneuve went a bit too much for a straight bloodthirsty psycho.

That moment is what I would like to know.
Whole new planet! Why it is empty, who lived here... Lots of things to discover.
I guess Haqq terraforming techlologies would be useful here. They are specialists in this question.

I'm happy with how they brought back the Raiden. They could have left it for dead. It was a good troop way back when.

Yeah, I think these PanO would look great painted up in black Harkonnen style. They’d look quite sinister. Totally agree that Villeneuve went a bit too psychotic with the Baron but I think Skarsgard really pulled off the role. A lot of what makes Baron Harkonnen who he is in the books may have been too difficult to translate to screen in the time they had. Still love those films though, I think they managed to get the overall emphasis on the story done very well. Back to the minis, I’m definitely going to have to do the JSA close combat troops in sardaukar film colours. Just for the grins of it all. Going to have to practice my nmm and Damascus patterns for some of the swords…

My pre-battle throat singing is on point (it’s actually terrible). It’s my prescience that’s affected these days. I’ll have to source more melange…

Totally wild guess/especulation: It was stated that JSA will lost acces to YJ remotes and that they will have non human tech.

What if they start comertial relations with the exrahs and buy there they new remotes? But since the CA is angry with the Exrah, they only can offer JSA old tech (hear me now, we want Pulpi Drones back)

LOL as fun as that would be, I doubt JSA pride would allow them to do that. I’m sure at first, they are only getting the same REM most others have. FO bot, FP bot, ML bot, TR bot. So currently players will not need to get new REM since they will do the same thing as others. It’s the Rui Shi and Lu Duan that they may need to replace. However, they could give them new remotes that are the exact same size and they can be used as proxies until they feel like buying the actual figures.
