I like the approach where they start from just before the first offensive, fleshing out the story that is otherwise only found in old rulebooks and RPG sourcebooks. They way they describe switching faction POV in future episodes sounds very promising. Can't wait to watch it!

Dang I'm really surprised at how good this looks, very true to the setting. Scifi settings with bigger global success have much less impressive first animation projects. This is already more true to the setting/art looking than some Shirow manga adaptions. Having an invisible assassin is a good way to save budget for only the best parts hahah.
