    I just re-watched the video and Carlos said the Genbutai are "like HI". So, due to that and looking at the images again, I'm guess 1W+NWI. Something I think they need is a troop that's not so CC oriented. I'm hoping with N5 they get rid of that whole thing.

    Get rid of what, the CC? I dont think so, in the Q&A he said their trying yo inprove the CC and that the crits in CC will be more impactfull

    Everything we know about N5


    Resume:
    - Code One will disappear, to be replaced by N5, with a range of "essential" products designed to provide a business logic comparable to C1. There should be a quick rulebook like before.
    - The factions will see their packaging and the way they are sold changed very significantly, so there will be a lot of last chance to give rise to a new sales optic, which may include fig fonts and heavy modification of troop choices a priori.
    - Guided missiles will be reviewed.
    - There'll be something around vehicles, and they'll have their own unit class.
    - CC and Martial Arts will be revised.
    - Reinforcements mode will be reworked.

    JSA Reinforcements looking good, beasthunter will definitely be a sought after model.

    But please, please stop spoiling all these great models with tacti-nol-onger-cool-rocks. Just in the single post wave of releases - Oyama, Daiyokai, Kysho, Sohei, Mukhtar, Digger, Kuldger, Wavedriver and Al-Djabel (original had similar, but he wasn't trying to do the splits mid combat). Any stand alone model could look great, but when half your display has the same footwork, it's tough to appreciate.

    The weapon card over the Orc and Shikami cards has the multi rifle without shock ammo. The Shikami card also doesn't have shock immune. It could indicate that the cards are for introductory games (no shock ammo in C1), or shock ammo could be on the way out.

    From what I understand damage roll is now unified with the rest of the game been roll equal or less.

    You get PS of weapon, add ARM and Cover and must roll equal or under target Number.

    Because it's more intuitive and beginner friendly. You roll under for a success in every other instance of the game. Lots of people learning the game have trouble wrapping their head around why you suddenly have to roll over for armor saves. So it makes sense to correct it. I applaud CB for it. Really simple change that doesn't break anything but helps newbies learning the game. Infinity needs more of that.

    It's the same thing, just presented in a different (and more comprehensive, to be honest) way to keep the "equal or less" result.

    A combi is PS 7, you shoot an ARM1 unit in Cover the result is 7+1+3 = 11 or less

    Currently a combi DAM 13 shoots an ARM1 unit in Cover the result is 13-1-3 = 9 so you have to make 10 or more.

    Odds are the same.

    I dont get it. It's confusing as fuck. Is not intuitive.

    Roll a dice. If the result+your armor is more than the weapons damage, you are OK. It's simple. It's intuitive. Big numbers in DAM means it's dangerous, big numbers in armor means you can survive easely

    It seems PS stands for "Possibility of Survival".
    So the lower the PS of a weapon the more dangerous it is (because your possibility of survival against the weapon are lower).
    ARM doesn't change.

    The thing is the ARM roll is the only one where you have to make "more than the target number", so the new way seems easier to explain as it follows the same pattern as other rolls.

    But I can understand it's confusing when you are accustomed to the current DAM and ARM.
