@nazroth had a guide just taking a Coca-Cola bottle, cutting pieces of it, painting that then gluing it to the hacker's hand, this seems like a more elaborated version of the same thing, looks like a basic clear support shape, then carefully cut shapes of colored plastic glued on top of it. Nazroth's more advanced guide using a bit of brass mesh is here, i feel like you could combine the two (use the brass mesh as the support part, then glue the rectangles and shapes on it) I understand why it fell from favor but damn, i do wish people put holos in all their hackers, it's way too cool
I cut up some pieces of old blister packages and on those I glued pieces of colour filter foils I got as a gift from a friend who worked as a lighting technician in a theatre.
I just realized that with Uhahu I finished the whole aftermath box! So naturally here's all of them together
I guess you'll enjoy all of them, even the siocast Ishinomori :D They're perfect to just go wild with paint schemes and techniques. That said I recently fulfilled a sidequest: I painted this Amazon warrioress as a gift for a friend and again used predominantly my Zorn pallette colours, and the alcohol based gold paint from vallejo for the first time. Another fun experience!
Thanks guys! Yes, she's from Freebooter's Fate. I guess she came in a Special Edition Kickstarter Collectors box, that's why I was only able to find her background once but then forgot it and also where I found the info Found her whereabouts! She's part of a freebooter's fate chess set, her name is Teoyotica (nahuatl: spirituality) and acts as the Alliance Bishop on the chess board!
Quite good, they flow way easier over the model so there is a need to be cautious. But at least the gold covers the surface better than the golds I still own. Unfortunately the alcohol based paint doesn't mix well with the normal, water based, paints as I found out whilst trying to mix it with silver (something I could've had anticipated but forgot exactly in that moment of mixing)
Do you remember by finished Aftermath Gang? Well, just about a week ago I had the spontaneous idea to come back from my summer break by building them kind of a home, or a whatever comes close to that... Thus I took my hot wire cutter and made a little piece to display them:
Thanks, man! The fence was really a hassle to glue on the frame skewers. On another account: Thanks to customeeple I'm now the proud owner of cybermask silhouettes for Uhahu (Aftermath) and my custom built Prowler Killerhacker! Also I got one made for my Al Hawwa Killerhacker (yes, I decided to get that despite StarCo's very probable disapperance in N5)
