Deadline for posting the lists to OTM will be on the 6th of October 2024. - Missions: 300 points and 6 HWC Extras: Mercenary contractors - Mindwipe - Countermeasures - Firefight - Looting and Sabotaging - Acquisition *Missions may vary with the release of new missions in th ITS 16 document. Five of the tables in the event will have a single type of terrain, which will confer the appropriate movement bonuses, the terrains being: - Aquatic - Desertic - Mountain - Jungle - 0-G All participants must bring everything needed to play the game: markers, counters, dice, cards, silhouette markers... Line of Fire must be indicated in the model’s base and be clearly visible from a distance. Proxy use will be allowed following ITS directives: it must be clear to both players what profile is being represented and what weapons and equipment it has. - Pairings: Pairings will be made using the OTM facilitated by Corbus Belli and will be made public at the beginning of each round. The tournament will follow the Swiss format. The first round will try to avoid players from the same gaming circles to play against each other. Last round will force first and second place to face each other, and same with last and second-to-last place, unless the players have already faced each other previously in the tournament. - Timings: Each round will last for 2 hours: each player is responsible for both their time and their rival’s. The Organization will indicate the timings so players can check their possibilities and decide which round to end the game on if all 3 are not possible. The use of chess-clocks is optional. If one of the players wishes to use chess-clock, both must use it. It will be of mandatory use on the last round for the first table between 1st and 2nd place. - Reporting results: Once it is time to report the results, please have Objective Points, Surviving points and what table you’ve played on on the control sheet, and give the sheets of both players at the same time to the Organizers. Not giving in the results in the established time will mark both players as not having played their game. - Referees: Before asking for a referee, it is expected both players will not only know the rules but that they have access to a copy in either digital or physical support in order to look for an answer in case of doubt. If any player has an inquiry the players cannot resolve themselves, and not before that, they might ask for a referee. Referees will follow the following method for resolutions: In case of an inquiry that requires their intervention, they will listen to both parts, consult the rules if necessary, contrast what resolution they feel is more plausible and dictaminate a resolution. The goal is to solve whatever situation blocked progress in the game being as faithful to the rules as possible, or at least being as fair as possible, and taking into consideration there is human fallibility in place. A referee’s final decision is definitive and irrefutable, and all players are expected to respect that. - Prizes: There will be a gift for all participants, and on top of that there will be additional prizes for the winner, players ending between 2nd and 10th places included, a painting prize and the Seal Prize. The Seal Prize will be given to the player that wins the last game between the last and second-to-last players. - Schedule: To be decided, estimates indicate the event will begin saturday around 10:00 and end Sunday around 14:00. - Seminars: Corvus Belli Staff will be contacted to try and lure some of them in to come to the event.
