If I want larger-scale fantasy battles, I have Middle Earth, which is hands-down the best game in GW's stable. I seriously recommend it to every and anyone. Warcrow is a very different beast, by the looks of it. Fast, modern design, small model count, aristeia-themed mechanics, with briliant sculpts. Sounds awesome to me.
But will these sets be available for general purchase? I didn't back the Kickstarter (not a fan of them), but I'd want Scions to start with. Bucklemen are cool but Orks are doing nothing for me (not saying they're bad, just personal preference).
The Adventures Core Box and Expansion will be going to retail once delivery to all backers is complete, I think the smaller additional units boxes will as well, though maybe not straight away.

CB isn't good at communicating, there's going to be a French version of their game, at no time did anyone feel it necessary to communicate, it's not as if it would have helped create hype for the launch of their gencon bundle, even though there probably won't be a french version at that time. As with the N5, we learned of this in a roundabout way via a reply to a comment by the distributor. Is there an Italian, Polish or German version? We don't know, but you'll find out when you do. I have been looking at a few video and discovered a thing : the base units (like the buckler) have an AVA of more than one Do you think it could be interesting to buy more than one box of "wind of the north" to be able to play multiple unit ?
I'd wait until we see more of the release schedule. There might be a standalone box with alternate sculpts, or with alternate weapons, like how the Scions get Marked and Crossbow Marked.
If it's still in the schedule, an alt sculpt of the basic unit of the army is planned for like just after the beyond for each faction of the box.
Yeah of course I saw that ;) But there is radio silence since then. Would have hoped for continuous updates. I know from the Defiance and Tag Raid KS that CB is doing a lackluster job of giving updates but hoped they learned from the past feedback from the backers.
I think the main problem with such things is that while it's being manufactured in China, there's just... not much to actually talk about. "Hey, mini's are being made." "Still being made" "They missed their deadline, still being made." It would still be nice to get updates, of course.
