(Posted 2024/5/8) For the benefit of those of us who have only been playing Infinity for a short-ish time… Current (see date above), n4 Gorgos rules questions: 1) Given that the current IA7 profile for the Gorgos does not include any of the various “pilot” skills, am I correct in surmising that the Gorgos Pilot is not a thing at this time and that the Gorgos Pilot model is “retired”? 2) The art in HS shows that the smaller model that came in the kit is the “companion.” Is this “companion” model supposed to represent the Chaksa Peripheral that is associated with the Gorgos, or is it supposed to represent the Gorgos *after* transmuting, given that the transmuted profile is silhouette 2?
Gorgos is a symbiont armour TAG its "pilot" model is the Inactive Symbiont Armour profile. That smaller model included in the box is indeed the Chaksa Peripheral.
1. When the Gorgos has suffered 3 STR damage, the massive Symbiont dies and you are left with an S2 Light Infantry. This is what a pilot miniature is for. This is secretly more survivable than most piloted TAGs, for those who didn't bring a competent Engineer or made it unviable to attempt repairs 2. This isn't a rules question. I don't know what artwork you mean, exactly, but refer to product photos to see what the Chaksa looks like.
