Didn't feel like I needed a third Tyrok hunter after the 2 LE versions, so I decided to convert the general release into another Oznat, this one wearing the Preta instead, mostly just so I could make it look a bit like a ball cap. Also decided to give her a maskless face since CB has refused to give the players what they demand.
Converted the Roadbot to have a more dynamic pose. I wanted some more Yaogat poses, so I picked up another box to make another sniper pose and a a combi panzerfaust, and decided to use some extra sprue to convert the Sniper Vanguard to an HMG.
Finished up a conversion for Yuriko Oda. I decided to give her cyber muscles like the Kaizoku spec-ops. The Katana looked too large, so I decided to give her a Tanto like the SWC Keisotsu instead.
I thought the Sirius Hacker would be a useful unit for my O-12, and something about using a long gun to proxy a SMG puts me off, so I decided to convert one from the Gangbuster Hacker, since I already made another of those.
Been awhile, and realized I had not even posted the couple of minis I did work on. Here is Commander Meouch my HMG Epsilon.
I noticed the little arms on the new Zetbot, and I felt it would be a shame if they went un noticed, so I did a little repose into a dynamic button pushing action.
Worked to make the profile everyone wants, the Swiss Missile Launcher. I cut the sword away from the right hand, and cut the arm in a few places so I could reposition it with a bend to be holding the missile launcher. The left Arm I just removed the HMG, and was able to slot the sword in pretty seamlessly.
Changed up a Liberto into a Helot by adding the helot armor to him, and removing the patch on his back.
Converted an old Father Knight so it could pull double duty as a Knight of Justice by adding a cloak.
Modified two Aragato so their line of sight will not be as confusing between the direction of the bike and the direction of their heads.
Last thing I worked on was to convert some Knight Templars. I had thought this first one would be the more difficult than it ended up being, but the upper arm being ballistic cloth rather than hard armor made it a lot easer to get the desired pose without having to resculpt a lot of fiddly detail. I ended up cutting both arms at the vambrace and the wrist. I cut off the sword from the left hand, and cut away the remainder of the handle so I could get the sword into a position that would allow it to be placed in contact with cover more easily. I also had to do a little work on the helmet antenna because the tip of one broke of when I was cleaning the model. This second one just an arm and hand swap once, (he was the Missile Launcher donor for the Swiss conversion), but the handle of the sword in the left hand had fallen off, so I had to pin it back into place with a bit of brass rod. I also added a shotgun from my bits box.
