I am! A friend picked up an awesome, (mostly) old SP collection for a great price, but decided he didn't want to play it and passed it on to me. Lucky me! Ajax is next...
Ajax was the hero in my game today (Last Launch against Hassassin Bahram). He killed McMurrough and single-handedly defended the launch tower in my opponent's turn 3. His little brother Teucer was next on my list... though I don't think he will prove quite as game-deciding.
After an HVT excursion with Ksenia Lavochkina, I'm back to Steel Phalanx support with a Dactyl engineer and her Yudbot.
That old officer is so much cooler than the new one. I really don't understand how they could give the new Myrmidons such boring poses. Good job on both of them!
Drakios with Kydoimos, his devabot. I'm almost through my SP characters now, only Thrasymedes left, and a few retired ones.
After my holiday (Tuscany, yay!) I'm back at the painting table, but taking a short break from Steel Phalanx. Here's Fiddler, because I want to try Rob Shepherd's Ramah Task Force list suggestion.
Everyone's playing Robert Shepherd's lists these days (me included) XD Good job on Fiddler. I have to say I'm personally not a big fan, just because she pops up in so many places. Had a lot of mirror matches with her.
Fortunately she is rather rare among the people I generally play with. Only played once or twice against her so far.
I'm chipping away at my Steel Phalanx pile. Not that I need any more AgĂȘma Marksmen really, but I want to clear the painting pile.
Boy do I feel you. The minis I painted not because I needed them but just to clear my backlog XD Nice job on these though!
I've taking a detour into Warcrow at the moment, painting my early copy of the 2-player battle set. Love the chunky orc models, looks like the Northern Tribes will be my starting faction.
