I was listing to @RobertShepherd 's 2024 faction breakdown and he mentioned how good a duo of a Stigmaton and Orphan w/repeater was... What are the tactics/nuances of that duo? Seems like you'd move them both up and then use the Orphan's stealth to advance into repeater range and then Stig-hack...? Is there more detail to it?
Well for starter you have your engineer been also a repeater meaning if your TAG gets stolen you have it already in repeater range to be taken back, that aside you can forward the Orphan without triggering her stealth, forcing the enemy to react to the repeater and allowing a wider freedom choice for your hacker TAG. I am not sure if there are more intricate uses of that duo.
Increases your Stig hacking area by a significant amount and giving you a pseudo Tinbot-3. Also allows you move up you can Carbonite HIs, forcing them to take unopposed B2 HFT on subsequent orders. Lets you make up for the mediocre FtF odds by easily repairing your TAG, so you can really benefit from the high damage potential of HRL.
