Well, I kind of want to get back to CJC, but every time I look at it it just seems...sad. Are you seeing competitive success? Are you having fun with it? What are you using and all that? Inspire me. I want to get them painted but it's hard to motivate myself if I am not playing them.

(0 | 7) 5.5 SWC | 299 Points Open in Infinity Army Yes, I did it for the fun of it but did surprisingly well, if my opponent did not have as Asawira with AP spitfire it could have gone better but high B AP weapons tear through Geckos as if they were nothing, still managed to revive them a lot with the clockmaker.
I've run similar as a funny meme, it's not good, but it is funny. And I think that's where I land with a lot of CJC. It's funny, but it's not good. And anything it does is done better by Vanilla.
Probably, but I do not play Generic lists, I could probably find some competitive lists if I tried playing it competitively, but I want to focus on NCA and MO right now. I mean CjC has many many tools worth exploring, it always had an issue that most things are expensive and you can struggle to bring everything you want, but still it has so many great elements.
Since the EVA lost wildcard the gecko haris has become less appealing. which is unfortunate as I enjoyed it immensely, especially once we started playing at 400 locally and I could support it properly. The Gecko Haris is still OK with a Wildcat engineer/hacker and El Señor but yeah, the Evader was dope... :(
Run CJC quite a bit in friendly games (don't do tournaments much now I'm old and have kids). The two bits I'm consistently glad of are Carlotta and the sombra. Between them they solve so many problems. They do eat a ton of points though. I've taken to running a Jag/diablo/daktari haris as a cheap late-game button pressing link or a smoke/stab option in group 2 as well. seems to work well enough so far.
Sombra is a hidden gem (literally). I like a haris of Gecko (which ever you have points for), Vostok and Wildcat engineer. You have a gunfighter for every situation (maybe not high mim targets, but then take an Intruder or something) and a guy to fix them. For a core I've been messing around with 5 jaguars with 2 panzerfausts (a buddy gave me an extra panzer mini). It seems antithetical to having a shooting jaguar core, but two panzers on 14s (and then TWO MORE panzers on 14s) w/ sixth sense is really good... and so cheap at 52pts. Take all the other toys too (mcmurrough, sombra, intruder HMG, morans, jazz...)
