The original model holds the Hammer in the right arm and the gun is on the place, the hammer is here. So it makes sense, but it don´t look good.

In the original model, the gun is separate. So its a high chance ist the same here.

Didn´t know that. But in the last game I used him, he needed three swings to kill a Zuyong ... while Theyros - same combat stats, but mono - killed one outright. His CC abilitys are underwhelming. He not even has a higher crit chance and with his PH is like a Spitfire crit with his mighty hammer ;-)

Latest published Operation box, I'd bet.

Surprisingly, however, it's a realistic way for carrying such a weapon if you want to be able to grab it at a moment's notice. The bad parts of that coin are having the heaviest part of the weapon really high (balance? Is that a hindi word? XD) and how it shows up as a target for enemy fire (not that the hammer itself would be a great loss, but it will mark the position of the TAG...).

I would remove it too, yeah.

On the contrary, I think it's "glued" with magnetic clasps, so he only needs to reach back, disable the clamps, and let gravity give him an upwards swing. Were it head-down, the hammer would be "dead" kinetically speaking, requiring effort to be wielded, while as it is he only has to grab it and have some sick coordination for a two hand grip.

Their fault for overusing the mines and BSGs, and we all know it! XD

Are you refusing the possibility this new sectorial would be based around slaves? It may be a penal legion, or some sort of "resources" gathering incursion force...
Or just bad english, yeah. Hard to believe nobody checked with google translate, DeepL, or even ChatGPT... XD

Yes, in my defense every time I try to kill somebody with Monofilament CC weapon they roll 13+, so mining and shooting them somehow works better....

In most cases a 13+ will save also a mine. Hitting multiple times is always better then only one time. So no wonder here.

Mono-weapons are still very scary for the opponent. The higer your armor and the more W/STR you have to more scary it gets. Its still only one dice.

    ...

Back to Argmamenon: CC20, CC Attack -3 on a DA CCW looks good. But PH 14 without mods is low for a TAG. While the surviving of a standard HI in CC vs him depens highly on saving throws, you can assume that in the most cases one dice will hold the armour. 12+ for ARM 3. Compared to his fluff he is underwhelming.

The four arms and the Greek aesthetics remind me of the Hecatoncheires. And I hope this is not Ajax 2.0. To be honest, I'm not sure we both need more Greek stuff or more four-armed stuff. Get some different shaped weirdness please.

Yes, I also noticed the Warhammer sword resemblance, and the logo is a bit reminiscent of the Imperium logo, even though the Torchlight logo is used everywhere, and the HI rear looks like an SM rear.

The fact that the HI has an antique Greek helmet may suggest that the Torchlight and the Steel Phalanx will share their catalog.

I think it would be plausible that all the human factions could send their best troops to be a part of it. But I doubt they would do that.

The four arms could be a manned tag. Looks cool to me so far.

Strange, I didn’t see at all anything like Greek, but more a similar Helmet to the Zeta
