For those who are visiting from abroad:
Hotel is located right on the edge of Riga Old Town, and conveniently resides less than 5min away from Riga International Coach Terminal, and right near one of the biggest public transport hubs, making it easy to get to it either from airport, or from other parts of the city.

Keep in mind that Riga is a flight destination for such low costers such as Ryanair and AirBaltic.

12 different countries are going to be represented at our satellite in Riga, Latvia! Last years record has been surpassed! We're still holding the title of the most international in-person satellite beside Interplanetario!
If you're thinking about joining in, better hurry up, as only 4 spots left!

To ensure everything goes on schedule and everyone has their fair share of playtime, we strongly recommend using chess clocks.
If one of the players wishes to use a chess clock, a chess clock must be used. However, the player who wishes to use a chess clock, must have their own chess clock.
Use of a chess clock does not impose a strict time for either player, but helps players to keep a track of time and makes the job of the judge easier if a game is not completed on time and a judge is needed.
The active player can switch the clock to the reactive player if deciding AROs takes time and the clock can be paused when solving rules issues. Good sportsmanship is expected in situations when a player forgets to switch the clock to their opponent. In General, use of chess clocks does not replace good sportsmanship.

We have some great news for everyone! Brutal Cities will be sponsoring Cyber Baltic this year! We are really stoked to have them on board, as we think their terrain is one of a kind, looks freaking incredible, and suits any game in a sci-fi setting.
Be sure to go to their website and check terrain ranges!

So, it seems it took us only 2 years for Cyber Baltic to become a household name. Apparently, spending so much time at tournaments abroad, making connections, and, hopefully making going to international tournaments popular, finally paid off. Last time we were at 39/40 players, but this year, slightly more than 3 months in advance, we've managed to sell all of our spots. Great job everyone! I love our community!

While we're preparing fotos from the event, here's a video I've put together from our Satellite, and also asked couple of hot questions!
