well, seems like I have to get Reinforcement boxes now. This modells like great. The Marspiders look wierd as expected (i thought, at first glance, that they have skulls for shoulderpads, and then i remembered its not 40k): Fun and extraordinairy and a absolut horror to transport. The Kulak look unique enough to me for "infanterie in armor with helmet and a coat" to be different enough to grenzers and the lot. I realy like the helmets. The prowler looks very nice, although i would like it more purple. with claws and a cape. Still not a fan of the "new" spitfire design tho, i realy miss the classic P90 design. but still a cool pose and not too different to tha classic prowlers, so she fits in. My winner of the lot is defenetly the Rounder. A very neat design, strong pose, not too much details and still recognizeable. I like it very much.
Those look freaking fantastic. Also, here's the rest for December: Fiddler CA Reinforcements Alpha CA Reinforcements Beta Nomads Reinforcements Beta Zuyong Invincibles
The Zuyong box is a very sensible repack. I like it. And I'm happy the old Zuyong HMG stays. Such an awesome model.
I mean, this exrahs scream for a year long stock of bug repell, but HELL this Fiddlers looks amazing. I don´t want to say something against the limited modell, but boy, this one is a very solid alternativ. I am honestly not sure if i like her even more due to this unconventional pose that makes her unique. Well done. although... is it just me or is this paintjob... well...not the very best? Also the left bot looks like in the absolut focus of the camera and fiddler seems ..... fuzzy
Also this news for december : By Koni from deepweb discord : With a little luck, this special surprise will be: Spoiler: + news de 2024: For conclude, koni said also this :
It's the month of releases in running pose, which had become quite rare, so it's cool, just sad that some knights weren't allowed such poses. Fiddler looks like he's in depressive painting mode, which fits in well with his new story. For me, the exrahs are too thin and too detailed, even when zoomed in I can't easily distinguish them, and the white background doesn't help, which is a waste because it looks like a good thing. I think you'd have to see them without the yellow stripes, that would help with readability I think. For me, the kulaks are just marspiders without arms and painted differently, they lack personality, but I like the rounder, too bad there's only one. In my opinion, the Druze box is a reduction of the previous references, because I don't see why they would have a 2nd big box.
Individual photos of the Exrah from the webstore are easier to parse visually. Lots of wings, large weapons, and extraneous bits which look awesome, but I'm also guessing means more moulds, more material, and therefore the higher price.
The image for the Nomads is no longer showing so can’t comment on that. Fiddler looks pretty cool. I’m not a fan of the painting on the Exrah. It looks very busy and hard to see anything. The Zuyong are as expected. The Foes set looks ok. Again the painting is not great. The painting on most of the new figures are a bit dirty looking to me.
A little too on the nose with the spiders, but they look ok. The Kulak is pretty cool looking. But I’m not a big fan of the current Nomad designs.
Uh the Nomads box looks too good. To bad that 5 of the very nice and well sculpted minis are locked for a gamemode that is not very well promoted by CB. Spoiler: sry4complain;-) Yes I still wonder: Thats all? One anouncment, a hasty looking rule-set and now people lets buy the stuff please. Our ammunition is spend. Sorry we forgot the give you some missions in ITS 15 especialy designed to work with reinforcments - instead we give you resilence operations so you can make use of the extra cards in the delayed ITS deck. I think RF can work well with RO. I played two games and yes its kinda fun for one or two games but then you want a normal mission again, where it makes sense that you put in a bunch of specialist. In RO you don´t need a single one to accomplish mission opjectives which makes the mod a bit bland. More of less annihilation with some extras. The spiders are very corregidor, they look like they can crawl outside the hull of a spaceship. The rounder - sadly there is only one - look damn cool. The kulaks a bit scary like REM with teeth. Such cool minis with so less use. Hidden in the RF box is a resculpt of the Prowler - which is not nice to the customers that are not interested ... Who do I tell this to? She looks a bit light for a MI and the pose is a bit boring, tactical something and knife out... but still nice. Fiddlers regular release is very good. I like the alternate pose and she is definitly on my list. Exrah - look good. I also like the color shema even it is a bit wild. A nice excotic look well implemented in the Infinity universe. Not my faction but I would like the get some of this bugs in front of my guns. The DF box is okay. Another Aleph character that is differnt in its resculpt but not better. The Haq one is a improvment in my opinion. For January I am happy to see we will see new Myrmidons and a fresh Lizzard. I also wonder about the Druze. Maybe box #3 I would like that, because I never get one of the old ones and I am still not happy with the old sculpts.
Sounds like they've got a few things in the works, but a full fledged digital version by devs that have worked on Blood Bowl is pretty promising.
Developed by Blindspot games. I cant find any other game made by these company, so probably is their first product.
Looking at the mobygames bios of the two founders, one worked on the Blood Bowl series, the other did a bunch of stuff at Ubisoft Montreal, looks like they got fed up of abusive working conditions and formed their own indie studio.
Well, Aristeia is a good game, and I like it more than infinity in some moments (exept plastic miniatures... I want usual dear Gatita (Gata) miniature in metal) may be cb would make come back with limited set of themnas on first release??) So, I want Aristeia back, really. And this digital project is a big plus. Better them to try than do nothing.
I really like the juxtaposition of her two models, a happy go lucky and a somber look on a really complex character that is passing a lot in the current fluff. I feel both models fit her current background state.
