Ill have to check on this one, they have the impetuous icon, not the skill and do not add an impetuous order, no clue on metachemistry.
They show no icon for me but when I filter a list by impetuous, they show up along with the other impetuous troops.
They did a disclaimer Sry can not fit the pic in - its in the official discord. The extreme Zellenkrieger is missing meta (rr) in comparsion to the preview. Maybe by intention or copy paste error - I think its good enough for 9 pts.
True it is on the Connelly one I think. I can't say I'm disappointed by there not being metachem on the Extreme. I think he's already the product after the chemistry. The Impetuous icon is now in arm for both Zellen.
I hope the Observance looks very foolish & dangerous if or when that infestation inside their group gets exposed to the outside world. Along with their plans for a Sepsitor.
Some of the fluff is also on the Infinity Blog: https://infinitytheuniverse.com/blog/dire-foes-mission-pack-12
Since no one seems to have posted it till now I felt free to do so. For me, the matchwinner of the release is straight up Squalo Mk II, I love this modell and I will defenetly add it to my fleet. I did not know that my life lacks Akimbo TAG´s, but here we are. The Aleph-Ladys are ...mmmh... not bad. I like the overall design, but i am a little sad that Nessi lost her Pippi Långstrump double pigtails. No problem to me, i still have the old modell. Scylla has a wierd pose, but that seems to be some Steel phallanx thing. Maybe in real it looks different. My biggest issue with them is the bot, who just reminds me a little bit too much on the oldschool gen 1 dakinis. Plus: the modells look kinda wierd. I don´t want to say "unfinished", but something with the paintjob (or maybe the picture itself) makes me think that this is a lower quality... dunno. And then there is the charakter box... I realy like the Lasiq lady with the braid and the Yu jing guy. Uhaha looks fine. But Connolly is defenetly nothing i am overexcited about. He looks way to bland for me, like a boring fusion between Domovoi from outrage and a discount Digger... no liky. To the Broccoli-Monster i have no opinion. To end on an high note: I realy like the Yu Jing modell. Strong pose, nice design. Especially the style of the sword looks very nice.
Guys, what happened to the paintjobs there? They look obviously very rushed! Denma is also not looking as well-painted as the morlocks for example.
Same here I like the double pistol look. The ant like head is also very cool and yes Akimbo. But the tactical something is whatever it has to put its foot on it? My and maybe someone else problem is to buy a mini that I don't need. Apart from a slightly more modern look it has no improvement over the pipi style Alke. But I still lack Scylla, so I have to try to resell Alke's new hairstyle. I also like the look of the running guy and the sleaky hassassina. Ariadna guy my look boring but closest the term cagefighter. The others are more like assassins or cyperpunk gang. Funny how Uhahu gets a aid for reaching S2 while she is S1 now. The Yu Jing Häterätätä may look nice but its a) not the profile the people want and b) has a cc pose again that his profile will not support in any way c) we have to wait aeons to see the HRL if ever so he will act as a poor proxy. I not understand why they do this. I would understand make money and sell the least wanted one first, but its a RF only model and I doubt they will make a second one in under one year. Maybe it will go OOP earlier because RF will not sell like hot candy.
It's been quite common lately with a lot of paintjobs. Look at the male Dactyl, the Ikadrons, the Sekudroid, the Roadbot's Sidebot compared to the other two minis in the box, or the Scots Guard box. My guess is Sergio Luque has an assistant who takes over paintjobs he doesn't have the time for and who's only at 70% of Luque's skill level. Or a different painter who's clearly not as good. It's kinda sad, really, since having high quality paint jobs had been one of CB's USPs for a long time, and they're slowly losing that. Same here. That guy is amazing. I don't even care that he's Siocast. The fact that I can play him without Reinforcements only adds to the appeal. I just read the fluff piece about Nesaie Alkê again and the two personalities she has – sweet when off the battlefield (Nesaie), a fury in combat (Alkê). So I like that with this resculpt they decided to show Alkê, while those who have the old model get Nesaie. I love everything in this box. Yes, Connolly's pose is a bit too similar to the Beast, but he's fine. Everything else is just outstanding. Can't wait to have these.
I'm quite satisified with the Aftermath box composition: the Haqq Zellenkrieger is adaptable into a Shujae, Connolly, the other Zellenkrieger and Big Thing are fieldable in one or the other of my sectorials (StarCo / Druze). I'll just have to offload Uhahu somewhere - I have the Outrage one.
We can discuss it via our usual channel :) though keep in mind there will be a transatlantic shipping involved, which may turn the proposal less interesting from a financial point of view.
News for christmas: Dire Foes 13: Yasbir vs Thrasmedes Fiddler Zuyong Invincibles Reinforcements: Combined Army Pack Alpha Reinforcements: Combined Army Pack Beta Reinforcements: Nomads Pack Alpha Reinforcements: Nomads Pack Beta
A repack I guess. But yay finally: Fiddler Cross fingers for a nicer version, but the LE already very nice.
I really like the new manga characters. I wish I had a reason to buy them other than they look cool. I love the cyberpunk feel to them. I like the sculpts for SP but the painting, as mentioned, a bit muddy. I like the Haetae but hate the upraised sword. If I ever get it, I think I’ll convert it to holding a Daebak flag. The Squallo is of course awesome looking. Zuyong!? Why?! I swear their choices on things to come out with make NO sense to me. The Zuyong still look cool and are not needed nearly as much as others troops. But hey if they look cool, then great.
The aftermath pack is nice, the painter has had a lot of fun on the chimera, it has to be said that his style is better suited to larger pieces. I have the impression that he tried to give a boxer boxed stalone effect to connelly unless it's the photo and the sculpture, the haqq version has a minimalist precision side like Onionknight, in my opinion it's another painter on this figurine. The squalo is nice, but I prefer version 1. As for the Aleph pack, it's rather disappointing: Nekai is in Achilles pose mode and with Scylla, the paintwork isn't great on the faces and certain elements. I've noticed that the LEDs in the sculpture are so thin that you'll probably have to think of another idea if you don't want to fail like the painter, and I'm not a big fan of cyborg arms like Jazz's. If you've been a little too heavy-handed with the undercoat, it quickly becomes a nightmare to paint. Scylla's head is really weird, it looks like the elements of her head are asymmetrical, like the glasses for example, the first version was much better I find.
