It's at the end of post 1, under : "Date unknown, but some revelations should be released before the end of the year" I've also edited post #44 Just a usual mistake by CB people, marketing must have made the form too quickly and didn't take the time to check it, besides I didn't see any Last Chance end date regarding bundles. I think the exrah and reinforcements will take the place of the Onyx, or at least part of it. For the Ramah, we're accumulating marketing withdrawals, so I think we're starting with a faction withdrawal in favor of the Hassassins. Then the Infinity catalog seems to be reduced to make space for the reinforcement catalogs and new game ranges. The sum of monthly Last Chances is equivalent on average to half of an All-In kistarter, so at this level there's an attempt to turn part of the CB store into a sort of Kickstarter where we're pushed into regular FOMOS. They've even reintroduced the Last Chance of the summer, which was supposed to have been permanently decatalogued, to encourage us to buy.
The last chances have definitely ramped up - pretty much every single Tohaa, key Onyx units, lots of american Ariadnans, bikers and biker ariadnans, numerous NA2 units, significant part of Ramah, now also IS... We're definitely in a period where releases are less than the catalog removals.
For your information, there's a new Novel: Airaghardt, the 3rd Infinity novel by John Leibee, from Winged Hussar Publishing, realase : December 19, 2023. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...ity-anyone-know-when.40227/page-3#post-462956
To Last Chance, you can add : - Echo-Bravo LRL - Securitate Feuerbach - Monstrucker SMG - John Hawkwood
It's unfortunate that they don't make a two miniature blister pack of the Monstruckers, which can be used as proxies in an Alien game, they have a good board game vibe in a confined environment. Kaplan and John Hawkwood are leaving, so that's the end of White Company. Given the few times I've seen it in tournament stats, it must be because it not sold and wasn't played much. I don't really see Foreign Company, I suppose the Soldier of Fortune box will end up going in the next few months too. Starco has long since lost its iconic Outrage miniatures, so I see CB making a reduction in its NA2s. I may bring forward my plan to buy the Druze by more than 1 year, it would be a shame not to have these superb minis in the vitrine. It also feels like the end of ramah, and I wonder about the possible end of the invincible army and tunguska.
Visiting the Corvus Belli store, I saw that they now offer pre-sales (so ITS decks are available with ITS), distributors will appreciate. https://store.corvusbelli.com/en/deals
Just looked (posting time) and ITS card deck is still 29.09.23 - all other September releases are 11.09.23 now.
FYI: there's a 4th novel in English for the Corvus Belli Infinitythegame universe, from Winged Hussar Publishing. This one is called Chronicles of the Human Sphere: Unintended Consequences, by Jeremy Breckbill, no info on their social network, no release date announced and not on Amazon for the moment, but there's a product sheet with the publisher's summary. The Romans follow-up topic is here, and there's an interview today too: Winged Hussar Books for Infinity? Anyone know when? https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threads/winged-hussar-books-for-infinity-anyone-know-when.40227/page-3 Chronicles of the Human Sphere: Unintended Consequences https://www.whpsupplyroom.com/scifi/p/infinity-unintended-consequences
I have a feeling we may see an Objectives Pack Beta in a forseeable future. If CB are as smart as I expect them to be. Sentry Guns are in Alpha, but ITS 15 brings us QAZ Creatures. And apart form consoles, we could use some dedicated Antennas. I don't recall what else is missing.
Kaplan had a place in QK, specially in the mission to capture enemies with ADHL being given to troops like them... who also carried one... and mimestism-3, and engineers in the fireteam... so they could unglue one another xD Otherwise, yeah... and Hawkwood was in Defiance, so market saturation too.
Usually it's not relevant, but some models that are not that in high demand and get sold in the secondhand market have already filled the niche. In the case of Hawkwood's miniature, unless you play WhiteCo or vanilla Aleph you can't use him, and he is a 40+pts CoC; in vanilla Aleph for that price I prefer the Myrmidon Officer, because she can normal smoke a Marut or Asura, or go full turtle with Eclipse smoke, depending of the profile so he's mostly for WhiteCo... which is more or less a NA2 for Kaldstrom and a few extra units with PanO remotes. Other models that may not sell as well are the heroes from Defiance that got 2 bodies released, because while there were 5k hawkwoods after Defiance arrived, there were 10k of each hero (granted, Jazz came with a single Billie, and people would keep some heroes of the factions they play), so it's mostly that pre-existing supply that, for hawkwood, also had a small pool of players (kaplan being present in QK did not help them either). If tomorrow Kendrat were to get a general release model, it's possible she would underperform in sales because of the same reason, but she's present on more than two factions at least.
It has not been teased, but the only ones we have seen renders of are O-12 and Combined, (even if the O-12 was still WIP), so I would expect the next boxes would be them. However, they may release the Squalo and Haetae units before moving on to the next reinforcements packs.
Thanks. I thought we already knew those were coming out in Dec. Yes, the ones we've seen makes sense.
From the Gen Con seminar we know that the Equipe Argent (Ariadna) box will likely be the last as it hasn't finished the design stage yet.
I think the main thing i dislike about Reinforcements is that not everyone can play with the figures right away. Some might even get them near the middle of the season. Personally I also don't like I can only use them in Reinforcements. I think some of the new ones should be available to Vanilla factions. For instance, I'm possibly not going to buy the new YJ box. So far I'm not keen on the Reinforcements and my group only thinks of it as ok.
It is inevitable that reinforcements would be a rolling release as with most faction wide releases, some patience until all are released is required.
