And here we are again. "Supported" sectorials got one goods like new ikadrons and loose fraakta. I wonder, what fate is waiting Ramah and Onyx... I wonder, who else is going to go to free place for reinforcements. I had hopes, that missed Spiral would be enough, but I see, that peaces are cutted from different places. So random... I want a little more predictability. Buy the way, could anyone tell me, how useful and/or popular was this units?
Can't speak for all of them but fraacta have a million sculpts for a profile you'll occasionally use one of. Probably didn't set itself up to be a good seller
Somehow I'm doubtful of that :( They could've released several units as boxes from the very beginning - Muktar being a great candidate (Red Fury, Doc, Hacker, universal proxy or a rifleman to stand for the remaining FO rifle / viral rifle loadouts: 4-model-box, AVA 4 unit, all options more or less covered in a single SKU). Same with the Asawira, actually (Spitfire, Rifle, BSG, Doc w/ Medkit out). For some reason they decided to go piecemeal: Asawira Rifle in November 2009, Asawira Spitfire in July 2011, replaced both with Asawira Spitfire in March 2018, and silence on that front since then. Muktar Doc in February 2020, Muktar Hacker in June 2021, and silence from then on (missing a very much needed Red Fury profile).

CB, as I said elsewhere, are apparently going through a paradigm shift again, regarding how the game should be played, and lists buildt. Communicating the intention to us, the consumers / players, well, that's an another kettle of fish...
The removal of the Fraacta is seems like an obvious move. After the events of Endsong, Tohaa are persona non grata within the Human Sphere, so even the Combined Army is removing them from the front lines.
Only Spiral Corps who are considered war criminals. The rest - unclear. Also, the CA uses the fraacta in situations where the PR won't matter anyways.
The BSG Fraacta was great in N3 (2 wounds AD with shoot & template at the same time, or AP when needed, etc...) but BSG got... "simplified" in N4 and lost most of its punch (becoming a B2 AP OR B2 chain rifle), the spitfire was usually considered too expensive, and the combi model comes with the old CA starter, now called "Onyx starter" by most, so removing the double blister makes sense. The Haidao also has 3 models, and one comes with the starter. The hacker (KHD) is not all that important, frankly, but the sniper is (one of the few MSV for Invincible... in fact, taking out the common remotes, the only MSV2, while MSV1 are only in the hands of Lei Gong and Bixie...), while the combi one coming with the starter has 3 profiles (engineer and CoC being the most important). The Mukhtar... let's say its the strange posed model and leave it at that. The hacker is a great model, and one I have twice (the second one I placed without the platform, in a S4 base with Andromeda's dog to make a Silhouette compliant Andromeda).
Haidao will probably get a double Blister for a limted time unitl it will be repacked in Fireteam/Upgrade box or disapear for resculpt. Mukthar will share parobably the same fate but here you have to be quick to get the Hacker befor you have to pay for the Yoga instructor also ;-) True poses are kinda limited and here we have a ... unique pose, but also ackward and funny without intention - so maybe he goes in retirement without a repack ... but I guess not. Fraactas ... I just wish we got half of their number in Liú Xīng ... we still miss Multi Rifle and/or Spitfire. Haido went from very important to still important due to new fireteam rules. Killerhacker in Tinbot -6 fireteam is still good and his brother provides MSV2 (one of two available in the sector). Mukthar doc is the profile no one realy cared about, while everyone wishes for the red fury, they got the - nice sculpted hacker while they still waiting. Why? Because MSV2. Rare in Haqq. Also rare is BS13 so you got a expensive LI with mime and NWI. Fraactas are 2W AD-troops. Nice but I never see one, the last times I faced CA (mostly because when I face them, then in form of Morats or Shas). chain colt to be precise ;-)
