This week i will attend a tournament. I want to try Morat aggression force. This tournament will have a 30-50% experienced Nomad and Bakunin players. I have a little idea how to counter them (bring 2 Datroks). Can you advice me by sharing some tactics and lists to counter them. Missions: Biotechvore, Countermeasures, Decapitation.
All I can tell you is that you need to be ready to outgun the Marksmanship Sin eater. You have some options to do so: Rasyat, good old smoke trick + Yaogat sniper rifle. There's some chance you'll see list with even two of them, and they will ruin your day if you can't deal with them quicky enough.
A Yaogat on a haris and a pair of daturazi will mulch any Sin Eater they get in their sights, but you need the active turn. Another option is a Kaitok Feuerbach in a full link, as it can put out both offensively and defensively, and it can also shoot through smoke. The big problem with Morats is their ARO game is kinda meh. And the Dartok isn't going to really help if your opponent goes hacker heavy. What you want is to go first. Consider picking the first active turn if possible, so you can identify their top threats and get rid of them. Remember you have loads and loads of templates, so their Mimetism-3 isn't that good.
Bakunin will generally want to throw an uberfall team forward to disrupt a flank, remove a key piece like a tag, nom a link down to remove 5 man bonus etc. The UFK will likely be the reserve drop, so plan for that as it has eclipse smoke and can cover off key objectives and forelanes that your key aro piece is watching. If they're using their shiny newly painted observance stuff, there'll be a lot of mimetism on the board. Make sure you have more than one msv piece in your list so a UFK team or bran can't gimp you on turn one. Observance really don't like being hit by templates and have several units that are shit in CC, so CQB units can be very handy. Worth noting that these troops are ineffective against the other archetype which is the riot grrl core link, so worth having options that cover off both angles.
