So? That's nothing new, Nomads have always had access to skirmishers and warbands that can beat up non CC capable troops. It's your job to stop them from getting there. CC troops should primarily look to fight in CC with troops they outclass. Setting up CC for two relatively evenly matched Bushido boys is a waste of orders and something people who are either fundamentally bad at the game or scraping the bottom of the barrel for last ditch efforts do.
Well NA2 was thoroughly disappointing to me. There's one new thing and I can't even use it because I do Ikari, Druze, and Dashat. I had been wanting a Merc Exrah for years!!!
That easily and with a Vostok with them climbing everywhere? Sure there's others but they are going to be particularly good at it. A Vostok+Spider ENG+Spider Grenades is going to be pretty effective.
Full Core of ABH/CSU is spicy as a reinforcement, I think the only others than can really do that are the Loup Garou. Brawler Core dumps a couple of linked Diggers in the midfield. Even without new stuff that's some really interesting options. Samsa seems like he's great if you get first turn, but a nanopulser will burst him to dust like a moth.

The problem is that with DA CC and B2 it is very good in killing in one order stuff that cannot be killed in one order and can break scenery. For example it quite outperforms Bran do Castro in this role
Well, what I can say... need to get myself the Wardriver and pops Sforza. Can't field the Cockroach anyway (Druze & StarCo). All the rest I already have. Seems if my Druze contract a backup, their venerologist is going to have a tough day at work ;)
That's not such a big deal, in fact it will be useful, as plasma is one of the rare rules and many people will get the chance to learn how to work with/against it. And knowing how venal the Exrah are, Exrah mercs are quite on point, lorewise. Heck, one of my half-serious concepts for mercenaries in the Discrd server was an Exrah on Dawn, known as The Mothman. Samsa is sufficiently close to this concept and even a bigger pun of a name. Now only if we can also get a liberto intruder, Red Herring...
Is it though? I mean: it has a B3 weapon and is not a CC monster It’s almost the same price of a Tik, and the Tik is massively superior on paper. Sure it has the Combat Jump Explosion that, if it lands, can create MASSIVE chaos, but if in front there’s a Evo Hacker, risk that it doesn’t go through is high. I think it’s fairly priced. High risk, high reward
haha yes it's so disappointing... Personally, it's less the lack of new products than the lack of available miniatures to buy for repainting in another style. Unless I'm forgetting something, that means no release before 2025, I think. It will be necessary to warm the bank account or corrupt the tournament organizers with some useless ectros....
This unit has no delivery method to CC. Bran is more likely to kill things in CC because Bran can actually make it into CC with a target without needing to shoot his way in. Seriously you people freaking out about a mediocre CC unit in a game that already rarely sees much CC are completely missing the point you should be worried about which is a B3 Heavy Flamethrower that starts halfway up the table. That piece of equipment is far more likely to inflict gross damage than a CC stat on a unit with no delivery mechanism.
No one seems to have said anything about it, but it was supposed to be a "new graphic novel" manga, but there's no info on that, so I think we can count on a rescheduling, given the nature of the product I think we can count on either a special release for Christmas, adepticon or the next gencon. I don't think the project has been cancelled because they had to pay a artist who had already done the job, otherwise they wouldn't have announced this product in the schedule.
