INFINITY PANOCEANIA MILITARY ORDERS: Knight Commander It is bizarre that this guy is only light infantry. He looks bulkier than that. In any case he was fun to paint. I had another shot at a glowing green sword and there is not too much blue, which is time consuming to do. Spoiler: More Pics
INFINITY PANOCEANIA MILITARY ORDERS: Knight of Santiago Hacker Knight of Santiago Hacker I don't know why but I'm a huge fan of KOS design. The pose on this guy is cool too. Spoiler: More Pics
INFINITY PANOCEANIA MILITARY ORDERS: Infirmarers of Saint Lazarus The Beyoncé of the Military Orders was a bit of tricky mini to paint with all the cloth and difficult areas to reach by brush. I kinda dreaded painting her. The spear got busted too and had to be fixed with a pin and green stuff. Everything pulled together ok in the end and I quite like this little pop princess. Spoiler: More Pics
Your Infirmarer is definitely the best I've see so far. Didn't realize she was Beyoncé until you pointed it out, but now I can't unsee it.
I didn’t realize until I painted her, but I can’t unsee it either lol. Not sure if the studio intended it but she is will forever be Queen B to me now
INFINITY PANOCEANIA MILITARY ORDERS: Knights of Justice Knights of Justice (Spitfire) This guys is my equal favorite from the MO box set. I'm very happy with the shine I managed to get on his armour. as well as the shading on the folds of cloth. Spoiler: More Pics
INFINITY PANOCEANIA MILITARY ORDERS: Knight of the Holy Sepulchre This big guy was definitely the highlight of painting the MO box set. All my Pano techniques came into play on him. The paint scheme feels like an homage to ArmouredValkyries from Macross. Such an imposing model! Pano just seems to get all the cool toys which is why I’m a fan. Spoiler: More Pics
Fuck that's one amazing paint job. Like yours better than the original. And I agree, PanO does get all the cool toys. It's unfair, really. Why can't Nomads get something shiny once in a while too?
Agreed. You are a truly amazing painter. Have you considered asking CB to do some studio painting for them (if you're anywhere that shipping etc. could work out)?
Dont be sad, Nomads got the Penitent and other goodies in the Bakunin set (now in my backlog lol) Thanks :-) The dust is done with weathering powder Holy indeed ;-) Thanks. I'd be too shy to ask but I'd love to have a shot at a box cover some day :-)
Don't be shy! They surely love seeing painters bring their product to life. Also CB are really, really approachable. I highly recommend that you send them an email with your work and ask if they would be interested in seeing some samples. And try to have an in-person meeting sometime when you're in the same area (if they come to a game fair in your area, or if you ever pass through Galicia).
INFINITY PANOCEANIA MILITARY ORDERS: Padre-Inquisidor Mendoza, Pre-Order Exclusive Miniature Such a grim faced fellow. Padre doesn't seem to like xenos. I like the mix of cloth and armour plates in the design. However I always find trophy body parts to be distasteful lol. Spoiler: More Pics
INFINITY PANOCEANIA: Jeanne D'Arc 2.0 Limited Edition So many Joans, which one to do? I think this is my favorite. Such dynamic pose and movement in the sculpt. A breeze to paint up. Spoiler: More Pics
INFINITY PANOCEANIA: Support Support I decided that my factions each needed their support units so I went through a patch of painting them up. Nice little set here. The Machinist reminds me of Amos Burton, the Wes version anyway (who I'm a huge fan off especailly when shooting the s#!t on Ty and That Guy). If you haven't watched The Expanse yet, do yourself a favour and watch it as it's the best sci-fi series like ever lol! It makes me think of the begining of the human sphere when humankind first steps into the breach of the wormhole network. INFINITY NOMADS: Support Support My second batch of support guys. I tried to match them more with my Tunguska troops but make them interchangable with the other Nomad sectorials. As always the bots are cute. Doc Daktari Spoiler: More Pics Mech-Engineer Bakunin Clockmakers Spoiler: More Pics Zondbots Spoiler: More Pics
INFINITY YU JING: Support Support The third and final batch of support guys. It was nice to get back to doing a bit of Yu Jing yellow. Such a satisfying colour to play with. I wish the bots got an update but they are still passable. The engineer had some nice details to work on and I liked the lady doc's mini skirt. INFINITY PANOCEANIA MILITARY ORDERS: Action Pack Military Orders Group shot! Seeing them all together consolidates the fact that Corvus Belli really does indeed produce the best miniatures on the market :-)
