Reinforcements for Tohaa - where do we stand

Spiral is the last Tohaa presence in the store, and is schedule to stop being sold in a month, so... Unless we get a repack or relaunch, the best option Tohaa would have for something new would be as a CA's Sectorial, I think.

 

Give me a single Taqeul as Sygmaa reinforcement for Onyx. That'd be fucking incredible.

 

Seems like a lot of the Spiral units in last chance would make a good "Tohaa reinforcements" box

 

Not a single Spiral profile (cause no Tohaa units are unique to Spiral) would change anything in Tohaa, let's be honest

I kiinda suspect it might be the other way around - we will get whatever Spiral gets. And Spiral stuff might be designed with Tohaa in mind as well, sort of like "Tohaa is OOP, but we know it's popular-ish, so we will give you something designed specifically for you, just not marketed directly as Tohaa"

However, I think Tohaa will make a comeback next year, based on where the lore is going

 

The future of Tohaa, as always, is Eclipsed.

 

I think the Taagma Sniper would; it’s a super solid MSV2 unit with DA ammo that can hide itself and brings Counterintelligence. Especially if the Smoke Kriigel also tags along; that smoke trick combination is one of the few things that Spiral still has over Tohaa.

The other stuff wouldn’t have much of an impact though; the better Imposters don’t matter because Jaan is better (and AVA 1) and the other unique profiles would be cool but not game changing.

 

I could see spiral getting some VIRD reinforcements as they're based on Varuna.
Tohaa getting more spiral would be fine and tie in with reboxed stuff without the paper terrain (following an established pattern of previous boxes- eg usariadna). Tohaa also getting some contracted-in Mercs would also be fine

 

I think we will get nothing.It would be great if we don not disappear from the army builder at all.

What was the last mention of Tohaa in lore?Something like-Do not trust Tohaa.Just one freaking line in whole book.In new book it will be something like-They exist,somewhere and somehow we do not give a f*ck about them.
I am fed up with year of Tohaa,so I am going to try WH 40K Drukhari in 10th edition,Star Wars legion as Empire,Star Wars Shatterpoint,A song of ice and fire,even f*cing monopoly.

They made the "Tohaa year" joke and the tohaa died in the catalog.
They made the joke about the return of the meros+pdf of the rules in French on the site, less than two days later they killed the french translation of the game (most of which was done free) by making a v2 that can't be updated easy. They even made a joke post on facebook asking us if we're happy that pdf v1 is available on their site, what do you want us to do with this pdf, you need pdf v2 to play?
Do you really think we're going to get anything?
The tohaa and spiral are going away during the 2 monthly waves of catalog deletions, there won't be any repack because everything is being removed via bundles at -40%. -40% is roughly the gross price that CB sells to its distributors, so when you sell at this level it's not to repack the following month.

They are my most favorite faction after all(
