The same way the Gator was designed by a Nomad player who got their TAG hacked in one game and tied up with a cc warband in the other. Remember the original previewed profile? "Nobody gets to counterplay *me*! I'm the Nomad player!"

This will be embarrassing when they don't go on to win all the tournaments

    TAGs with Courage

Jokes aside each faction does something better or in their own unique way, Nomads doing everything and be the best, especially vanilla, is more of a meme than reality, especially since raw data show otherwise.

Well yes, that's CA. But we still don't see any changes based on ITS results.

From what I can tell it's that the players who steer into Nomads' noninteractive actions (repeater net defense, eclipse smoke offense, sacrifical puppet bots, etc) do very well, and those who don't don't. Most of the good factions right now, with the exception of KF, crutch very heavily on noninteractive options that are zero risk but at least medium reward, and oftentimes their opponent is forced into high risk low reward plays early in the game just to have a chance at not being completely locked down. Part of the reason those factions are good is because they have those unearned advantages of low-interaction plays without having to give anything up in return.

    Where Tohaa Courage TAG

Anyways I do think Nomads have some problems, obviously and most notably in the Command sector where they have obvious LTs and no Chain of Command, but it is a bit concerning to see all the new toys they get that not only occupy spaces where they were previously weak, but oftentimes excel at those spaces. Things like the Gator or Evader.

This new model being a hard-to-kill 2 Wound LT with +1 Order isn't that powerful, but it is a bit of a design break in that it represents something that Nomads isn't really supposed to have. It's not gamebreaking, but it is messing with faction identity a bit.

I mean it helps that the majority of the Nomad playerbase has reasons other than winning to avoid using all of their tools. Not every Nomad palyer is interested in running a completely optimized list, apparently.

Nah, but what do other factions do that Nomads can't? I wasn't asking about tournament results.

What each faction does better than Nomads? each faction does its own thing better than Nomads, or similar to Nomads in another way.

    1) it's very relevant cos you're saying they're op but the data says otherwise

    2) I agree I don't get that

Can you prove to me Nomads are better at shooting than PanO? better at order efficiency that Yu Jing? better at been "Ariadna" than Ariadna and so on?

Been able to do something is something all factions can do, been the best as something is something a faction can do in its "specialty" and factions usually have more than one specialty despite what memes say, Nomads are not the best at everything, they are not even the second best at everything, they have their highs and their lows.

Nah, you've got it reversed - I'm asking for you to show me what other factions do that Nomads can't.

What game aspect are they third best or worst at?

Can't speak to the Yu Jing or Ariadna bits, but at least for the PanO bit, Kusanagi is a BS 14 Mim-6 Spitfire with 2 Wounds. That's as good or better than any PanO shooter that isn't a TAG or the Swiss Guard, and she's far less points. There's also the Szally with its BS14 HRMC, Kriza Boracs with their B5 BS13 Mim-3 HMG, Grenzer Snipers that give other top-tier snipers a run for their money, the Vostok running around with BS 12, Mim-6, and (possible) Marksmanship, not to mention the ever-present Spotlight AROs to give everything +3 to hit...

Nomads are actually pretty darn fantastic at shooting.

Tell me you just play cause u like to win without telling me you just play to win.

Hell, why play other factions.... What a great questions to ask!

    Nomads do not have:
-Teutonic knights (or amazing knights over all. There is no better feeling in this world or another than pray to the one and only god whilst deus vulting the living crap out of alien and heretic scum)
-Posthumans (damn, remember the time when POSTHUMANS were one peak of unfairness? good ol´ times)
-S 8 Units. Just placing bricks on the table.
    -Auxiliars and dirt cheap Flamerbots
    -Hexa, as the amazing design
-Monsters controlled be an evil EI
-Monsters controlled by an evil AI
-Teutonic Knights (listening and singing chants whilst playing is the only rightious thing to do)
    -Gammas. Because Feuerbach.
    -Pokemon saving your lives. twice.
    -Hidden deployment and Camo TAGs
    -a total lack of smoke
-Iniltrating mono CCWs in marker state
-Knights falling from the skies like angels
-enough salt to make a ocean jealious
-Joan d´arc (and counting in the amount of joans there is, thats quite a thing)
    -REM´s with holo echos
-Teddys and Doggies (thats just half true. Corregidor has a doggo)
    -a tohaa year in 2019
    -Judge dredd

I can go on and on and on, and still i dont think we are on the same page here. I see, in a competitive environment, playing a game with rules that makes one player win and the other lose, there will be people maxing out there options and possibillities to win. You can go down the path of searching for the greenest gras (which is always greener on the other side) or you can just enjoy the game you´re playing with the faction/sectorial/units you like. In my experience a good player will make "his" gamestyle work, as we saw on countles occations when a tournament winner posted his list. I got way more often this "wow, that worked?" feeling then "ah, yes. ofcourse, how very unusual of him to play the exact same list like all the other winners"
