As far as I can see she still sports both high CC values with DA CCW and D-charges. Should we expect to see her being nerfed as well? There's also an alternative we can use instead of DA CCW that doesn't affect objectives and that is infamous E/M CCW. But that is a whole other can of worms...
I see. She's more risky now to put next to the console, so it might be fair game. Also, Casanova has now a profile with Mimetism (-3) and we're still left with Uxia's D-charges, CC22, MA2 on Infiltration (+6) and some Fidays being left in the spot where they can pull this off.
So, what no one has addressed so far is the fact that the Initiated Observants were advertised with AVA 1 but are actually AVA 2 now. Which means you can put two repeaters in the midfield from the start, just like Morans in Corregidor, just that they don't go away when you kill the Ininitated. They are 6 pts more than Morans, but they get Camouflage, and they start separately from their repeaters. I am the only one who thinks this is crazy? Thank god these are only in Bakunin, but with an HD+ available to the faction and good hackers all around, you can now deny the midfield to your opponent just as well as Vanilla and CJC can. I would honestly have liked it better if they had stayed AVA 1. But I will for sure field both now.
It's not that. It's that vanilla Nomads are already off the fucking chain and this just gives them more toys.
Yeah that kind of repeater field on the table at game start is an incredibly oppressive t1 defense in Nomads. Not every faction can really deal with it; it's part of why bears are the alpha strike unit of choice. Can't rely on HI to hit your opponent hard in their turf when that exists.
That and bears are ridiculously cheap for what they do. They are super efficient and would be used regardless of repeater coverage.
I already have issues dealing with the hacking coverage of my meta. This isn't helping anything. Calling people crybaby and scared isn't engaging in an argument.
Vanilla Nomads are very, very good and start with a number of unearned advantages just for picking the faction. Your statement really isn't adding anything with respect to what we're talking about. And generally, no, I don't get to beat vanilla Nomad players who know what they're doing, since my sectorials haven't been updated in years.
They weren't in the ITS top 10 in CBs data so they can't be that good Maybe you are not using tactics that are suitable?
Nope, OCF literally doesn't have a way to deal with a Moran on a lipped rooftop with their repeater net covering an objective without taking insane risk. They're not top 10 because the majority of the Nomad playerbase either isn't choosing or isn't aware of their powerful options.
