yey. He has increased chance of forcing two armor rolls. Know who else forces two armor rolls? Everyone with a DA CCW. He also can't break stuff, and he isn't very useful against anything with high armor. He's not useless, he just has a lot less teeth than he should for a model that's supposed to infiltrate into a dangerous spot and kill something important. He's basically forced to go after one wound chumps, and at that point, I don't know if I'm willing to shell the 30 points for him.
Yep, watchman Moderator will be converted and painted soon! The Immu (S) + NWI is of course super nice to have as it makes him 100% less likely an easy target for classifieds after he got ganked right next to the opponent's DZ. But instead making him a brainy gunfighter who could take out big key pieces by stacking detrimental states MODs' it's again just the way of reducing W / STR until one or the other falls down. I'd even be happy about a Zapper on him! Just take a look at the new Sarkos with their WildParrots, that's something interesting... Oh, and I don't care how courageous Bran might be, I want his climbing plus back. Better be a coward than stuck on a slightly too high wall!
I love Bran being more resilient, and Sin-eaters get Shock immune and Marksmanship. might wanna put 2 MSRs.
So who was saying they didn't get Lt. skills? BTW I consider NCO to be a Lt. skill in a way. Since it's his order that can be used. I think Nomads now officially have everything (I'm talking all Nomads). Good choices of Lt., guns, CC, RG are still the second best HI in the game (Asawira fist), the best remotes, good short medium long range, and just about every specialist and more. What am I missing? Ok so no CoC, but that's a thing that doesn't come up that often and they still have specialists for days. Edit: also some of the best warband in the game (my opinion)
While it is sad to lose the EXP CC Weapon at 1 BS on the Reverend Healers, I feel it was worth it to gain Mimetism-6. They now fit better with the rest of Observance.
@Space Ranger Yu Jing have the (overall) best HI in the game an one of the best LT (+1 order) in the game and the NCO options to really use that +1 order, so I do not think complaining about it is warranted.
Bran was also one of the best at getting to servers and objects that needed to be destroyed with Anti-Material, posting up just outside opposition DZ with +6 infiltration, was fun while it lasted I guess.
Um what complaining? I was pointing out things. You are projecting that on me. What do you mean by overall? We have many but I wouldn't say they are the best at all. RG and Asawira are few but better. Our NCO are also limited to a few expensive characters or troops. Moria's have it on all troops and now cheaper. YJ has 5 NCO troops, Nomads have 5 NCO troops. None of them a character and including a TAG. Yes it's a great Lt. I didn't say it wasn't. I'm saying that Nomads now have it the same skill, which they didn't before. Many complained about Nomad Lt. for some reason and now they have a boost. I'm not even saying that the troops is fantastic. It's seems just ok at the moment.
Nomads are not the only faction having good TAG! PanO has this too! Nomads are not the only faction having command skills and HI! YJ has this too! Nomads are not the only faction having cheap & effective warband! CA has this too! Of course Nomad is hacker faction. So we have good hackers with nice repeater infrastructure. It is faction identity!
I'm gonna complain. Know how much LT+1 PanO, whose leadership is not a known official weakness of the faction, has? One unit. The Knight Commander, restricted to Military Orders. PanO, does, however, admittedly have CoC and decent defenses available to some LTs- mostly Knights, but nonetheless widely available. As the Nomads also have Daemonists, Reverends, Interventors and other defensible LT (non-marker) options we can call that one a draw. Which now boils down to Nomads having one command skill PanO doesn't, and PanO having one command skill Nomads don't have. So why in the name of all that is holy is PanO still restricted from half the game's unit archetypes, given that their comparison with Nomads now seemingly boils down to BS+1, WIP-1 and access to one rather widely available Special Skill? We don't have guns that shoot at +3 compared to anyone else, or hit twice as hard like Nomad Hackers get- as a matter of fact, THE NOMADS GOT THE FIRST GUN WITH A +3 TO HIT THIS UPDATE! Rant over, I'll go back to being civil, but this really does stink.
Even if you were right (which you aren't, as usual), what about all the other things SR pointed out? It's pretty funny how your comparison to the supposed HI faction which is not even accurate can be made comparing Nomads with literally all the other factions' supposed strenghts and they still compete. And meanwhile PanO still doesn't get smoke because +1 BS would be broken with it or something. It's amazing.
I probably misread what you wrote, projecting is, I think, a bit much. What I say is Yu Jing in their entirety have a far better HI this means they have a much better and more impressive selection than any other faction, and the utility they can bring down with it is far better and second to none, their NCO options are far better than more useful to utilize a LT+1 profile that is easier to protect even though it is an obvious LT. Nomads now have another obvious LT +1 order profile that can be attacked from the start, is vulnerable to E/M and hackers that brings little utility to the table and their NCO options are less impressive, the Gator is not bad though.
I can tell you why he lost the DA CCW, it's same reason Andromeda ate nerfs. To try and stop them from deploying near objectives and bum rushing them dead.
Enlighten me. Who can E/M your Lt sitting in your DZ from the start? And also who can hack your Lt sitting in your DZ from the start? I am not even counting for Decoy guessing.
