For sure. Though I suppose I would argue that the Zerat MMR is a pretty functionally different unit than the MSR, not saying it is bad, just pretty different in how one would use it. Rodok HMG and Spitefire fill the same general roll as a B4 unit that can operate well over 16". I was more bringing up those profile losses/changes because I think Zerats and Rodoks saw the biggest shake up in terms of profiles when the Morats received their update.
Yeah, the zerat MMR will actually make it into a list. The biggest shakeup was Rodoks, for sure, but it wasn't too much and didn't make rodoks unusable (I've used nuRodoks effectively quite a few times). Honestly, I think this update can make even older units really, really cool. I am very curious about what they will do to the Prowlers and the Lizard.
If they make everything with only one wound less than 30 points and give everything above 30pts at least NWI I'll be happy. That's the biggest problem with stuff like Prowlers and Reverends for me right now.

But finally it's the weekeeeend
Battle report was one of the better ones they’ve done cinematically. The gameplay, however, was a laundry list of “How Not to Play Infinity.” From walking a Haris into a Blast Template, to going into CC when you could have just shot the HVT instead, to using Hit Mode on your shotgun when you’re already Dogged, this game was tactically a dumpster fire. The sniper choosing to shoot the dodgy, tanky cenobite instead of taking a shot at the Healer was also questionable, as the Healer was the only specialist in the Core; taking her out cripples the ability of the Nomads to perform the objective. I’m also pretty sure that Agatha should’ve been hit by 2 more blast templates from the Missile Launcher, unless the Teuton bizarrely chose to use AP mode on those turns instead.
FYI, on the Goonhammer blog, Genghis Cohen and his mates wrote a reaction article about the new profiles. https://www.goonhammer.com/infinity-adepticon-release-new-bakunin-profiles-reactions/
That is some great basing. Also that Taskmaster is such a bad mofo that his DA weapon of choice is barbed wire. BRUTAL.
I decided a year ago to main Bakunin because I saw them as a “sleeper”: a faction with a lot of strengths that were underestimated and therefore less familiar to many players. (The reboot cancelled that advantage of unfamiliarity, lol). Prowlers are one of those underestimated things IMO. HD troop with boarding shotty, KHD, D-charges is a LOT of late-game classified or objective-grabbing power, or a decent “gotcha” ARO if you’re desperate. They’re probably overcosted a bit, but honestly I wouldn’t put them below 32 with that kit. I hear what @burlesford is saying but the advantages of HD, camo, infiltration, and all those objective-box-checkers on a single troop are huge. So I doubt they’ll mess with it much, or they’ll hopefully only cut the redundant boarding shotgun profile and maybe tweak the combi. Same underestimation was true of the Zoe-PiWell-Moderators-Riots link, until recent discussion and the ITS14 buffs to Pi’s shooting highlighted the potential of the link. I still catch people offguard with it, but local opponents have begun to see how dangerous it is and blunt it quick (although the most kill-it-NOW orders go to taking out my Chimera most of the time). The Lizard could defo use a little tweak to be more interesting, but still isn’t bad. Looking forward to seeing what they do with it.
I think it looked great and gave awesome moments for both factions, and that is what matters for such a video.
In a better days (before 2020 and 2023) I tried to gather Bakunin because of lizard x) I liked that TAG. Looked like a weird futuristic closet, but it had it’s own charm. And I liked riots with taskmaster team. But I am not experienced player to judge about it in gameplay...
Compared with other TAGs it's a bit of a lemon but tends to see play more than mediocre TAGs in other factions because it's more useful to Bakunin, considering resilient and punchy ranged firepower is something they're short on. I've ran it a few times, never regretted it unlike some of my NCA TAG lists, it's worth its cost within its context every time even if it's not flashy or benefiting from cutthroat pricing.
