25th of Feb, in Seoul, Korea, there was an 8-person tournament held There were several narrative campaigns here, but official ITS tournaments were barely held. Anyhow, we can now play monthly official tournaments thanks to our official vendor, Games Park! Some of the players faked that they are going to play Haqqislam(which is kinda unfamous faction here in Korea), but they have successfully infiltrated and suprised others by making an entry as Acontecimento & Spiral Corps. This made our new Hassassin player, Gandiva, scream in desperation. And the Corregidor player Jim, has finally brought his 3 Gecko Haris army into tournament tables. A notorious executive from Spiral Corps, KoG(Instagram: @KoG_mini), met his pal waxy who is a veteran O-12 commander in the first round. After a proper shootout between Taagma, Kiiutan and Hippolyta, the Spiral Corps scored a win with 8 Objective Points, against the O-12 who'd scored Objective Points. ---- The Gecko platoon commander Jim, smashed the defense line of Accontecimento Shock Army, scoring a huge win. Some said, the scene reminded them of The Rumbling from the anime Attack on Titan. ---- Lastly in a third table, Hassassin freshman Gandiva scored 9 against 1 of Kthulu's Yu Jing, with his great ambition to victory. But in the second tournament round, he met his teacher-arch-enemy KoG, who has taught him how to play Infinity with spartan method. KoG successfully drew forth the fear he once induced inside Gandiva's mind, by reinstituting the trolling sequence of Spiral Corps. Every game round, Gandiva struggled to resist against mind games of KoG, but eventually he ended up screaming in trauma induced by Spiral Corps, defeated. ---- The Gecko platoon commander Jim has met Commander Nogo of Yu Jing in the second tournament round. He pushed forward with his three Geckos as usual, but then he faced the real deal. In the second player turn in the second game round, commander Nogo successfully destroyed 2 of three Geckos with coordinated attacks by Liu Xing and Daofei, followed by the execution of every mission runners of Corregidor. The only thing left was to kill every other Corregidoran filth, and score an epic win, like every other Yu Jing commanders do. The scores were 3:3, but odds were with him. Until... Until Jim's turn of third game round, whose army has entered a Retreat! state. The remaining Corregidorans ran out of the battlefield, taking any leftovers with themselves, ending the game as a tie. Commander Nogo went into a meltdown, since he never expected such thing to happen. But Infinity the Game is what it is, he managed to snap out of it and move on! ---- The last tournament round has come, and the mission was Biotechvore. The main event of the tournament, play-off between KoG vs. Jim, was being held and every people from the town gathered around to watch who's who. But then 4 dice were rolled, to decide if KoG's infiltrators successfully infiltrate, and every single PH 10 roll scored a failure. KoG, cried out in fury. Jim, has never been lazy to miss such an opportunity. He took the first turn, commenced an assault to leverage the opportunity out of opponent's misfortune. To make way for Geckos, a Core Fireteam of Alguaciles moved forward. But then a sly Helot, casted hails of fire upon Alguaciles out of nowhere, burning down 3 Alguaciles into ashes. KoG once thought the odds were against him, but then he thought maybe they're not. Jim almost faded out, but he then recalled that he has another ace in the pocket(except it was on the table, not in the pocket), McMurder. McMurder got orders, made his way out of biotechvore plague, utilizing smokes and his superior femorals to beat up and down. He then reached enemy territory, jumped into make a suicidal run with his Chain Rifles spitting flames. Triads and Sentinels, fired back with Pherowares and everything they got, but McMurder was so tough that he survived every bullets and pheromones. Facing the odds, KoG almost went to a meltdown for a second time. He managed to cease the assault of McMurder, but then there was an echo of ground rumbling, which meant the Geckos were approaching. The Haris punched through the left wing of Spiral Corps, shooting Armand down with Multi Marksman Rifles. Except one which suffered a successful E/M attack, two Geckos were in front of the defense line of Spiral Corps, showing off their presence. Thanks to losing control on his dice, KoG, in Loss of Lieutenant state, shoot his bolt to do everything he could to turn the tide of battle. A Chaksa Longarm was ordered to throw an E/M Grenade over the building, eventually succeeded to make two Geckos into giant streetlamps. Then KoG ordered Kiel-saan, his new Lieutenant and the last flame of hope, to move forward and prepare to shoot down filthy Geckos ruining his land. But due to severe losses he suffered, his orders ran our quickly. Immediately after KoG's turn has ended, Jim leveraged his abundance of orders to consolidate his chance of victory. He sent a Digger to kill Chaksa Longarm who's threatening Geckos, and a Stemplar Zond to kill Kiel-saan. Both of them resisted fiercely, burning up Jim's orders, but it turned out the odds were against Spiral Corps. Kiel-saan and Chaksa died out of Plumbemia, plumb meaning lead and emia meaning pressence in blood, which was induced by Stemplar Zond and Digger, shooting chunks of lead with its Rifles consequently through their Symbiote Armor. ---- 3 Geckos were immobilized but standing still, providing VPs. Watching his last hope Kiel-saan falling down, KoG concluded that it's meaningless to resist further, decided to give up to make a clean finish. So then the Corregidoran Gecko platoon commander Jim, took the first place of the first official ITS held in 2023, here in South Korea. Betrayal of Haqqislamites, Rise of Hassassin, The Rumbling of Geckos... It was a huge fun to watch the series of events as a tournement referee. Thanks for reading!
