Given the color theme and iron halos the comparisons have their merit. Fearmongering always shows up when people operate on limited information, it'll die out when we'll learn more. Although it might not, depending on what information will become available :P
Eh, You have a point, but I don't really believe it untill I see the army list next week. At which point I'll either be vindicated or burn my tongue. Either way, fearmongering stops. In any case, the first impression IS quite nice. I think this release has potential to be pretty cool.
CB has always delivered max coolness with recent faction reworks IMO (and I say this as a JSA -and- YJ player, as well as current Bakunin main-er/Nomads sometimes-er). What splits or changes are made, and a few units retired, are more than made-up-for with new configurations/uses for old troops, was well as a few new units. As long as Riots are likely untouched (and folks have good points here about them being likely fine), I am stoked for the Weirdo Mothership’s future.
So the box is SWC illegal at the moment... Sin Eater and the 2 moiras are 4.5 SWC...+ the custodier, 5 SWC A HRL in a HI should be 1.5 SWC. And we even not start taking in consideration the Penitent HI
At least Nomads are not getting a sectoral ripped away from them because the didn't look the same as the rest of the Nomads or some other BS. So there must have been some sort of coup but they are still Nomads politically. I do hope they allude to some parts of Nomads fighting against the Observance. Bakunin was probably the most religiously diverse of all of the Nomad ships. Way back in 1st-2nd edition I was going to make a Tao-Buddhist section of Bakunin with Morlocks being monks that use body modifications to become "Enlightened".
bakunin my starting faction back in N2. And it was because of the nuns. I hated sharing the faction with the crazies.(most have grown on me since) I ended up switching factions because it just wasn't feasible to make an observency list. So my nomads have been shelved for years and only really come out when im playing new players, as the moiras are the perfect handy cap unit. I will definitely keep a close eye on this but I doubt id replace any of my current models for these new sculpts. The new units however look quite nice.

I have never heard of this happening with any starter box outside of Code One, not from me or anyone I know of. But you are right, there are a lot of SWC in there.

I do have a list to counter this argument but it might be off-topic here so I'm not posting it. Anyway, Bakunin was one of my wishes to play but didn't have chance (or WIP cause I'm PanO) to dedicate to them. Personally, I like their new models and can't wait for their update video!
