INFINITY - NOMADS : DEEP BLUE By LAN PAINTING 1. I very enlightened, using a highlight of blue mixed with white that I applied over a black GW undercoat, following a zenithal direction from above. In addition, some of them had their faces painted with Cadian fleshtone and Cadian fleshtone mixed with white. 2. Then I mixed the Valejo air french blue with some sky blue (ratio 3:1), which I also applied in zenithal highlighting from above. Then I also did a second layer of this highlight of the same mix but with a ratio (3:2). 3. This is the Shadows Step, I added shadows with a mixture of matte black vallejo with cantabric blue, in a ratio of about 1:1. And that I also applied in zenithal spray but here from below, in order to simulate the shading. 4. And I did some final highlights (which allows to take back at the same time the overflow of the shading step) with vallejo air sky blue mixed with white in a ratio of 2:1 and last 1: 1. The final highlights were applied with a brush (see mix above), in order to better define and highlight the areas of the miniature and its edges (of armor, clothing, ...). You can make white dots to give reflections.
OSL ORANGE WIP tutorial And orange OSLs were made more or less like this one, using Scale75 colors: "Mars Orange", GW "Scarlet Red" and "Sol Yellow", VALEJO "White" Base: Mars Orange + Scarlett Red base color in a 2:1 ratio. Highlight 1: Then 90% of the surface is covered with pure Mars Orange. Highlight 2: Then highlighted the center of the light and the edges illuminated with a mixture of Mars Orange + Sol Yellow in the ratio 3: 1. Highlight 3: The next step is with a stronger mixture of Mars Orange + Sol Yellow + white in the ratio 41. Highlight 4: the next step is with a mixture of Mars Orange + Sol Yellow + white in a ratio of 42. Final bouquet: Mars Orange + Sol Yellow + white in a ratio more or less in the 12.
I used her recipe on Agnes Ferreira, it makes a great scheme for both the O-12 and the Pano. Painted in blue uniform mode, with her accessories (belt, kneepads, boots) and made her a tight tshirt in black. I added gold edges on her jacket to represent her as an officer. The helmet with the visor in yellow for harmony with the white stripes. And some freehand where it should be, of faction logo Pano and rank, it looks great. And if you make her eyes light blue, she will look like she has a sharp eye, due to the high contrast with her brown skin and black hair.
