I recently started a new game table project with lights and interactive elements. This will be a development diary. I'll try to periodically upload photos of recent work and diagrams, as well as links, if you need them, to the workshops and studios of 3D models that I used in my work.
I decided to start small and gradually pick up the pace and volume) Vending machines for street decoration.
Everything is at work...! So I show again every little thing. The cafe is not finished - I need to find a sign - so the cafe will serve as a pedestal for the photo for now ^__^ Here we have all kinds of ventilation, shields and "communication" of our future district I also checked the brightness of the newly acquired LEDs - I almost went blind
After a long break, I started working on the houses again) A shop with a warehouse or an apartment on the second floor (not decided yet). Furniture is still in progress. At the second stage of work on the building, I will add weather effects on the walls As a result of work on the house, I came to the conclusion that it is best to seal the floor with some beautiful carpet - I found a site with carpets, assembled a pattern and printed it on matte paper)
The curtain (turned out not very even but maybe even better) is held on magnetic tape and can be removed. Advertising spinning on a Chinese player for 5 usd.
The traffic light is 3D printed using an orange blinking 5mm LED. (photographed for entourage in the dark, but even under normal lighting, the glow is clearly visible)
This is really brilliant work. Not only do you have good attention to detail, you are mixing a lot of really varied textures in your work. It has a feeling of incredible depth and realism. Looking forward to seeing your progress as you work on this. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us with good photos and video!
One of these days the Inquisition will knock at your door because you're obviously meddling with witchcraft!
This thread is an active crime scene because I'm gonna steal so much of this. Seriously, this is really inspiring stuff, thanks so much for posting. I have a pile of LOSblock stuff just sitting there on sprues, this is giving me motivation to crack it out.
Actually, can I ask your opinion on something? I had the idea of doing strings of Japanese lanterns to hang across streets, lit with LEDs. How would you advise going about it? I was thinking of 3d printing with transparent resin, sticking them on a string of LEDs, and layering glazes of paint on them to add colour. Do you think that would work, or can you think of a better way of going for that look? Many thanks!
Keep in mind that I painted the entire lid from below and the grate (through which steam flows) on all sides 2 times with primer and 4 times with varnish so that it would not swell from moisture - water condenses very intensively on the underside of the building's lid)
