Inspired by the other Haris related thread. For the love of god, give QK, the Haris pioneers, their second Haris back. I promise you, the faction is not going to be overpowered with this change. Justice for QK.
I support it, even though I'm not a QK player. I guess it might come around when/if QK will receive a makeover similar to Morats (who, incidentally, did get 2nd Haris at that point)
I agree. I think if they are going to no longer support the sectoral they should at least give it a slight buff in some way.
Seriously. It’s an easy buff, and very unlikely to create imbalance. Having 2 Harises could also make players feel secure enough in their order-efficiency to take lots of Irregular troops.
...QK don't have that many irregulars available: Yuan Yuan Bashi Bazouk Beasthunter Warcor. Unless you want to spam with paratroopers, there's little point, I guess. Though indeed having the 2nd Haris would be fluffy.
But spamming paratroopers is exactly what QK were supposed to often be about, and was present in a good third to half the lists I saw in last edition! Yuan Yuans were signature of the faction’s style until N4 rules screwed them (not even the 15-model limit, but the new Impetuous and AD interaction). Bashi were less common but even more on-theme. QK are supposed to be the corsair faction, dangit. Being able to comfortably take 2-4 Irregulars would really help players use the theme. I suppose a fix is needed for the Impetuous-Irregular interaction too though before YY or Bashi are playable without losing their Irregular order, even more critically than 2 Harises. But if that were not an issue or one just plays around it, you still need order efficiency to make 2-4 Irregulars worth taking under a 15-model cap.
