So a profile related question: With the alteration to how Motorcycles work with being able to choose what is best of acting like a non-impetuous trooper or an impetuous trooper, this seems like a bit of an admission that being impetuous isn't actually a big drawback. Will we see costs of Motorcycles altered? Will we see costs of Impetuous in general be altered? An alternative take on the Motorcycle situation is that it is the huge base that is the true drawback rather than Impetuous. Leaving aside that a Motorcycle can dismount while a Baggage REM can not; Will we see a more generalized points reduction to other S4 units?
If this was the case why haven't they been removed from Tohaa as well? Tohaa is in a much better place to abuse that rule, as they get twice as many Kaeltar Specialists (and therefore Bombs/Mates), and yet it was only removed from Spiral Corps. Though to be honest if that was the reasoning for removing it from Spiral then that's even worse, because instead of fixing a niche application of the rules (slapping a Bomb/Mate on a Digger was almost always worse than slapping it on another, better unit, and you don't get very many of them), you'd rather just remove an important piece (Diggers were the only way to make Brawler Core worth its points) with 0 compensation to the faction.
Well, i just update Tohaa removing the Diggers. It should be removed the same day that we did in Spiral Corps, but we didnt. Sorry. About the feeling on needing a "compensation", I will transmit those feelings to the team.
Point cost adjustments were made in the last ITS Season and never removed. So we were already playing with the modified costs but the old rules.
Bikes haven't gotten adjusted upwards. They were made cheaper with N4 and then they were made cheaper again when they got Mimetism for this season.
And that was their point adjustment becasue they were paying a lot more for their stats/equipment. The actual cost (should) reflects their renewed potential.
The motorcycles got a point adjustement when we added the mimetism skill. And with that adjustement we had in mind this change, only that the rule modification came later.
