The requirement for using sixth sense is to be the target of an attack. Yet, every bullet point except 4 and 6 identify an attacker or attack in the text. Bullet point 6 says that stealth is ineffective against troopers with sixth sense. Cool. Makes sense. Should probably have wording that identifies that this part of the skill is in effect even when the user is not the target of an attack, but it works. Bullet point 4 simply identifies that the user does not suffer negative MODs while dodging. Should this read: When being targeted by an attack, if the user declares Dodge, no negative MODs are applied, with the exception of the -6 PH MOD for Immobilized-A State. Or Any time (even when not targeted by an attack) the user declares Dodge, no negative MODs are applied, with the exception of the -6 PH MOD for Immobilized-A State. ?
It's actually part of the Stealth skill copied over for reference as people often missed the clause in Stealth during N3. https://infinitythewiki.com/Stealth Note that its written that Stealth is not effective against troopers with 6th Sense, rather than using 6th Sense, this is a purposeful distinction.
For sure. My question still stands. I think it’s the first one. But there seems to be a common use of the second one.
You need to meet requirements to use a skill so if you aren't attacked you suffer any dodge penalties
Help me: I can´t recall any dodge-penalty except IMM-A (which is always mentioned seperatly) that comes without beeing target of an attack. Funny stuff I noticed: Sixth sense hard-counters Pandoras "Dodge (-6)" , due to "no negative MODs are applied"
Friendly reminder that Dodge (-6) means that when Pandora declares a Dodge, any enemy targetting her suffer a MOD -6 on FtF rolls.
ah damn, ofc. Dunno why a always mistake that in my mind. Maybe cause i never get to involve her in any fight
